a bit of fun with a chopper we found :

i will try and follow the format to the letter : server : neu new york fallujah i found this by google searching : dayz server neu new york fallujah the direct link has the i.p. address in it , so i wont post it. time : around 10.30 pm GMT + 2 (norway time) myself (player name Dr Octagon) and team mate (player name Arne) spotted a chopper and approached on foot.from around the fire station two players came at us on an A.T.V and both myself and arne opened fire.during the video you see me shoot him point blank center mass several times with a FAL and i will provide a link to arne's vid of the same incident from his perspective. video from me : video from arne : i will withhold the player name , but it is in the global chat in the end of my vid.please do not hesitate to contact me with further questions.i am just tired of being killed in this fashion.he takes nothing from our well armed corpses and logs out shortly after i inform him that i was filming. thank you for your time, Dr Octagon

great concept and example of emergent gameplay.i think dayz needs something to bring players together and create a sense of community.well..thats what i would like to see anyway. sadly , i am in europe and i might get a crappy ping , but i'll check it out none the less. now where is the punch and pie at?

i put in an order with santa for the trackir 5 and can't wait to fire that puppy up.i also look forward to the oculus rift , but like all kickstarter projects , it could be a few years (if at all) in the future.i saw the dislecxi vid a few months back and i am pumped. my answer to your servey is : soon. i'll provide feedback when i'm rolling. stay frosty.

this is my first run through Celle and it gets eventful within the 1st 5 minutes.gunshots from all directions and i have no real idea of where i am.the only other time i've seen the map is in a chkilroy shac tac vid.

a good idea is to watch arma 2 gameplay videos to get an overall feel for the map (climate/terrain/citys/waterways).i got my 1st look at Celle by watching vids by the shac tac crew. plus they are highly entertaining. you could also just jump in and play them - learn through mistakes. i also play with my laptop next to me with the dayzdb.com/map open to give me an overview.there is no Celle map on there to date , but it gives you helpful info in loot locations. good luck out there.

great work on the server and thank you.i got a lot of questions when i posted a vid of the chopper base/oil platform on panthera island #2.is this just on your server as i had people telling me i made it up and that it does not exist.can you comment on this please.

why is the vid called "end of dayz"? were you banned for scripting in the weapons?

here is my rig:

try the off shore oil platform.its north east off the coast of Freckle about 1 km.it can only be accessed by chopper , so you would have to see what happens if you log out there.
