its a lot easier if you have fraps at the ready , so you can film any cheating.i have filmed cheaters before and got them banned.it feels good.its easy to get them chatting about their awesome hacking skills in global and film the whole thing.sadly its just on your word. hopefully , standalone will weed out most hackers.

sometimes all you can do is laugh.

as a fresh spawn , nothing beats an axe and pistol combo as the axe is quiet and will not attract more zombies and the pistol is good if problems escalate. from there its tough to pin down one ideal weapon (IMO) as there are so many different situations in dayz. i am a fan of the M14 aim.single shot , nice sight and powerful.

me and the team tried to recreate the scene from apocalypse now where they fly in out of the sun in the choppers playing the music.we head in to cherno playing "ride of the valkyres" , only to find nobody home.

on chernarus , it depends where you spawn. if south west (between cherno and kamenka) i'll head for komorovo to the industrial building and get an axe to deal with the zeds , then to cherno to the supermarket/firestation = 20 mins if i spawn on the eastern coast (three valleys or there abouts) , i'll head for the barn complex in three valleys , then to rog (castle) as i often find pistols there = 25-30 mins spawning in the middle (cherno/elektro) , i'll rush in to the high risk/reward cities as who cares about dying when you've nothing to lose = 10 mins

the drop off seems pretty quick (as in you have to aim up over a short distance). it is a hard rifle to use well.me and my friends played it a fallujah server yesterday where it was in the loadout and it was a lot of fun.lots of missed shots and it lends itself to the map brilliantly. i normally test sniper rifles out on zeds when i first get them , plus it is fun.

that was awesome! outstanding work.

we find ourselves in a very PVPcentric server with all the settings on "super easy".and lots of side chat magic.we talk in skype ,but you can also use teamspeak.i'm amazed people don't know this yet.
