  1. Well aware, it was just a heads up that it is bugged for some users and some are experience very accelerated effects on top of that.

    Sensitivity and Other Mouse issues

This is a duplicate report and the developers are already aware of this bug/problem. Please check the feedback tracker to see if an issue exists before creating a new one and instead vote the original one up so the developers can see it's a common problem. A list of important bug/issues that the developers are already aware of can also be found on the DayZ Forums: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/153994-early-access-important-information-known-issues/ Any additional images of the problem in question is always appreciated (if possible) and can be added by using the 'Upload File' section within a bug report. Cheers ___ Sorry for the c+p, info is there. Devs are aware and it's already a hot issue on the bug tracker. Some people like acceleration on a certain axis but not another, the options allow these players to tweak to their liking (although it's a bit broken for some).

So, where are the 100 player servers?

They aren't paying to be a beta tester, they are paying to be an alpha tester. That was made VERY clear, if you somehow missed that information you've got larger problems to worry about than disliking DayZ.

So, where are the 100 player servers?

Glad to see the quality of your posts has improved.
  7. People don't tie me up and beat me with shovels on Skype :(
  8. Everyone is just jumping on because everyone else is on. :P It's a vicious cycle.
  9. Unbelievably fake. The name of the game running (DayZBuildTEST) is not the name currently used. The username used by Hicks is also incorrect.

I think this is the first time everyone has agreed on something. Your idea sucks.

    Thank you Dean Hall!

What do you mean 'nope' ? I'm not trying to be a dick - it wasn't a question, I was telling you they add nothing of value. There have been a million threads saying the same thing and there will be many more after this one - it's nothing to do with being grateful or not - Reddit is the same with these 'Thank you' posts. Yes, I am grateful for him taking time out of his own (very limited) private time to talk to the community, that's why I take time out of my own schedule to contribute to the testing and bug reporting of the pre-alpha and help any of the newer testers get up to speed - I don't feel some compulsion to create a thread on the forums proclaiming my love. It's not exactly something that can be discussed to any great length - just a circle-jerky post about how awesome Rocket is. He knows that the community is behind him and both Rocket and the DayZ community owe each other a lot, that's why he spends pretty much every waking moment of his time working on the SA. He wouldn't be here if it wasn't for us and we wouldn't be there if it wasn't for him. If you REALLY want to thank him you can bug-report the shit out of the SA when it's released so the dev team don't die of stress. In the mean time, enjoy the calm before the storm.
  12. The reason they are clunky in the standalone is because they haven't added all of the animations in. Things change, things change a lot (speed for various actions, way the actions are animated, etc etc.) they ended up changing the animations a lot which takes a lot of time - a lot of the animations aren't really in sync with the action itself, why some of it looks a little strange.

    Thank you Dean Hall!

Because the ass-kissing posts are just as bad as the whining posts. They add nothing of value.
  14. It will automatically get every future update. Basically, the earlier you buy it the cheaper it will be. You are paying for early access to the completed game which will be probably be fully released in another year or so.
  15. It could be either or. There are plenty of decent players but there are also plenty of people that use map hacks with their little friends to get the jump on people. I'd just try and find a better server.
  16. You are the one trying to take the high ground while committing the same transgressions that you find oh so reprehensible. It's nothing to do with opinion, your whole argument is based on the fact that YOU don't like it - that is literally it. You're the one that jumped on the 'Oh, you disagree with me, you must just want to start an argument!' bandwagon with the other user. It's a forum. It's for discussion as you said, but you're not bringing anything to the table but OPINION, you're going to have to at least back it up with something solid, not just more opinion. I gave my opinion but you had to start with throwing around the 'logical fallacy' nonsense - yes there should be a limit but adding in a random insignificant mask isn't going to somehow bring death and destruction unto the game like you seem to think it will. It would be fine for a rare, crappy trash item in a civilian household - it exists in real life, it's less useful than other head-slot items, it doesn't give any unfair advantages.
  17. No, it simply means that what's acceptable to you is based on what YOU want, it's logically sound, you're just being a baby. You base the decision on the adding of masks being 'wrong', they are wrong to YOU. Now, if you want a real logical fallacy, look at what you wrote - slippery slope argument - that's a logical fallacy, not just something you don't agree with. Nowhere has it been stated how they are going to be handled, the items exist in real life and can thus exist in DayZ if realism is what you're touting, it's not fiction - they are real tangible objects in the real world. Now get off your high horse and making yourself look like an idiot by throwing around words you seem to have trouble comprehending.
  18. There is no logic for anything being in Chernarus, there is no back story to DayZ. It's there because it's there, it's a fictional country bordering Russia, not a remote area in central Egypt - they have roads and everything! I'm pretty sure they have the ability to have things shipped in, especially with two military airbases nearby as well as a civilian airstrip in southern Chernarus. There is a difference between being wrong and not being exactly what you want.

    Handcuff question?

OP sounds like the sort of person that will log to prevent being handcuffed. He's going to be that guy.
  20. It wasn't any new information I posted - it's all been previously said by Rocket either on Twitter or on the /r/dayz subreddit (or posted by another member of staff). They've really been working towards the same goal for a little while now. It's all about performance, performance, performance now and has been for a few weeks. That's a post from Rocket on Reddit. Only the devs are allowed to release any new information so anything said by any tester will have previously been said by Dean or another staff member.

Rocket, you can watch this video?

It's not his fault that people are too dense to use the search bar and it remains constantly relevant.
