To find your GUID you have to log-in (You can also log in to ARMA II OC to check it) and type: "#beclient guid" into chat. Just check around, you'll eventually find a server without as not all servers use the CBL. Edit: http://dayz-community-banlist.googlecode.com/git/bans/bans.txt This is the raw ban list you can just use Ctrl+F with to match with your own guid. -

To be perfectly honest I don't play right this second so I don't know what the current state of it is. Essentially it is a ban list ran by server admins who submit hackers/suspected hackers and they are then banned if there is enough proof, there are a few problems with false-positives though. Right, it is all literally all down to you being bad, no matter what you say to the contrary. You should go play Call of Duty, you get everything handed to you on a silver platter and whether you're shit or not you will still get plenty of kills. If you are running for several minutes just to lose zombies you are doing something wrong. If you find ammo scarce. Good. It's meant to be. If anything it's too common at the moment for various weapons. The game is meant to be hard, that's why it's good, if Rocket starts catering for the lowest common denominator (i.e you) who finds it too hard the game will suck. If you find it boring why are you still here? There is plenty instant-gratification to be had if you play CoD or something similar. -
Okay - I don't know what you're currently doing with the axe but I'll explain how it works. The axe is both a weapon (Main slot) and a tool (Toolbelt). If you right click on the weapon while it is in your toolbelt you get the option to equip it, do so - you will then need to press 'R' when you go back into the game to 'reload' the hatchet so you can use it. If you want to change to your pistol, use the scroll wheel and select the secondary weapon.

If they are in the general viscinity of an area like the airfield, they are 99% of the time coming for the loot and not to make friends. Even if they weren't coming directly towards me, why wouldn't I shoot them for my own safety? What's to stop them doubling around and coming back? How do I know that they aren't just going round to get a vantage point and I spotted them first? There are too many ifs and buts to just leave a potential threat alone. -
I am awesome at Call of Duty, I had over a 6.0 K/D ratio on MW, MW2 and Black Ops. The game is just the same recycled crap marketed at morons - that's why I don't like it, they aren't doing anything remotely new with it. It's boring. _ @orlok An emblem is pretty much your 'Profile Picture' that other players will see, it is made from multiple layers of different shapes and people try to design things, mainly swastikas and dicks. This one is actually quite decent for once.

People don't dislike it because it's mainstream. People dislike it because it's a terrible game full of gimicky crap that is added purely to make terrible FPS players think they are actually good. There is next to no skill gap and even if you are terrible at the game you can still easily win due to ridiculous perks, ridiculous weapons and overpowered 'Get 7 kills to win game' streaks.

Exactly this. The difference between body parts I imagine will play a huge part in the standalone - no more 1 shot kill for being shot in the foot. I think it will balance longer range fighting quite a bit.

What a load of crap. Here is a scenario for you: My friend and I are at the North-East airfield, he is busy looting the barracks while I am positioned nearby to make sure nobody decides to give him a surprise. Suddenly 2 players appear in the distance, both armed, but not as well as I am. _ Okay, so you are trying to say if I were to shoot these players I am a 'KoS' player and unskilled? You'd rather I let them approach and lose the element of surprise just because it takes more 'skill' ? I don't need loot from them, I'd leave the corpses, I'm armed better - letting them come closer is a simply a stupid move, no more, no less. _ Putting yourself needlessly at risk to prove some naive and misplaced sense of honour is just ridiculous. -
What's wrong with Berezino?

I don't find Berezino to be that safe. The loot is good but on most servers you tend to get traffic heading to the North-East Airfield appearing and eager to take a few shots on the way to the airfield. -
You start with sniper rifles? That alone means your server will never take off, you've completely ruined the game from the get-go.

It won't happen - Rocket has announced the pricing structure MULTIPLE times on camera. It will have a similar release structure to Minecraft: 1. Foundation release will be sold for $25 2. After one year of development, it will reach Beta status. 3. Beta release will be sold for $30 4. More development 5. Finished game is launched at $40 __ That is the structure they will be using for pricing the game. Edit: I should point out, that no matter what build you purchase you will release any new updates for life. -
I can almost guarantee it will still have high-powered rifles but Ican imagine the rifles that will be removed will be the overpowered rifles (M107, AS50). They have no real reason to be found so much and they are pretty unbalanced as far as being able to 1 shot someone from a kilometer away goes. As far as helicopters with door gunners are concerned - they won't be a problem in the standalone whatsoever. The main problem are the guns, every server restart they get refilled, this won't happen in the standalone. If you've ever really flown around in a chopper a lot, those bullets go VERY quickly, they will certainly be used more sparingly when actually finding ammo for it becomes a serious issue.

The first two there is no problem with, it's one of the risks you take if you decide to play alone. You may be more stealthy but if you are gravely injured you're going to die. Blood bags I'm pretty sure will be nerfed. Not sure about tents, I'm assuming they will fix them, current problem is down to Arma II. Side step? If you keep hitting a button, rebind/unbind it - it's nothing to do with the game you keep hitting the wrong key.
