It doesn't currently run on OSX but if you have a decent system you can install Windows 7/8 using Bootcamp Utility and play using the Windows partition.

I guess this means I should probably answer some tickets? k then :(

Every time you die you are assigned a new blood type. It would be sort of pointless if you could find it once then it didn't matter through respawns.

Essentially none of the new sounds created for the Standalone are actually in the game yet. Most of them just have placeholders from similar objects (which is why melee weapons sound like gunshots when they miss). Rabbits currently just use zombie noises.

Weather still has to be finished. You can normally use it to track direction if you know what time it is (Rises in the east, sets in the west) although it's a bit messed up right now.

You have such little knowledge of what you are talking about it's laughable. Some things are more important than others, not just the things that annoy you - not everything involves flicking a switch to magically fix everything like you seem to think, fixing one thing can break a hundred other things which in turn all have to be fixed. Report these servers to the server providers if the admin is abusing restarts, locking server, kicking players etc.

They are not of great immediate importance so items and weapons will be added throughout development. Both zombies and vehicles are getting a complete revamp so it will probably be a couple of months at least for their to be anything in that front.
