I've tried reinstalling both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA but every time when I update ArmA 2 I get this error, I'd appreciate it if you helped. Thanks. Edit: I get "Wrong cd key" error when I try to install the update.

I think the last time I made it work by doing some stuff with the folder in the documents but I think it got downgraded. I don't remember what I exactly did but I'd be thankful if you could remind me

I'm getting: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow'. followed by: Error compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlpha:0 when I try to launch ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead.

Yes as I said I did all that's being said on other places I don't know what those are but I did try doing that verification and started them once through steam and then exited steam.

I've also tried doing the stuff that's said on other websites, like starting BattlEye Setup in the game directories but no use.

But most importantly, I get "BattlEye initialization failed" whenever I join a server. I've tried reinstalling both DayZ, ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA. They all have legimate keys and used to work like a charm until I needed to update ArmA 2 one day.

both are from steam, it just says in the middle of the update, and when I press 'Ok' the update just immediately finishes

Since the first day of the installation, my friend loses his whole inventory every time he aborts, spawns with nothing and in different locations when he changes servers in public hive. And, if an admin changes his inventory through their console, he spawns with the exact same inventory every time even if he drops stuff until he dies. Although, his stats like blood or hunger doesn't get reset. I'd appreciate your help, Thank you. -Phixef

Yeah well he reinstalled DayZ, but then we tried teamviewer and apparently he doesn't have arma2, not even demo version..

Oh and just for the record, my friend can not see car part conditions seperately when he gets in the car and can't see zeroing on weapons, he has some kind of different interface.

I don't think it's related to that, he's tried using DayZ commander before.

No he's not, he's using Play withSix

DayZ Version is 1.7.7.1 Arma2 demo, we both use the demo version and mine works like a charm. Arma2 OA is legimate, purchased from steam. We play both on Private and Public hive servers
