Battleye does not initialize on my server with the latest beta, enforcing the first 1.61 patch. It works fine. oh and yes, you can roll back i had to do it on the server.

It is probably safe to update now, since 1.7.2.1 has been made the default @ http://cdn.armafiles.info/latest/ Of course it is up to server hosts to use the latest hive, FR16 is updated and you will not lose your stuff.

It's also cheaper and much much much faster to buy 32GB of ram than a 120GB ssd that is decent.

Using the default, or that scripts.txt, will not stop hackers. To actually kick for the most common scripts you will need to do some snooping around frequented hack forums, and add strings that cannot be redefined in a hack to your scripts.log. for example: _vehicleList = vehicles; is redefinable. you could easily block this by adding 5 = vehicles to your scripts.txt, which omits the redefinable string.

happened to me, it sucked, but I got over it. The bug disappears when the player respawns or aborts out and comes back in. The problem was caused when everyone in a ghillie suit got their player's clothing reset at the 1.7.2 update.

I'm more interested in how this image was taken. As far as i'm concerned the DayZ mod and map does not contain any admin spectate script, neither does ArmA. If you want actual proof look in your server log.

If you can play DayZ you're fine, you won't need to launch anymore mods. If you want to install other mods such as ACE or any other mod they will come with instructions, it's pretty simple. First off he had 2 -mod parameters. And the mod=noblurB will kick if the server is set to verify signatures. If your game is blury set postprocessing to VeryLow and set the 3d resolution to 100%.

The log will show Rcon logins and kicks, as well as kick messages. 2 gigs is the bear minimum for windows 7, add at least four gigs. you'll have to find out what type of ram your pc takes ddr3 or ddr2, speed shouldn't matter too much. If you do end up buying new ram just take the old 2 gigs out otherwise the different speeds and voltages may cause issues. Unfortunately, DDR2 will be much more expensive than DDR3. Please don't post garbage if you don't know system requirements. You will be able to play ArmA 2, with that DayZ as well, you may be able to play on medium depending on your resolution.You will however need to buy more ram.

I'd like to know how many people have a satchel charge and/or an AT4 (m136) in their inventory or backpack.
