use the latest beta (95208), servers running an older version have been instructed to update. -
Maybe I usually don't look for that info as it is useless, although if the hacker was dumb they would have a log of who spawned the helicopter, if it is indeed a hacked helicopter. If the hacker was smart and he probably was, he would have used a scripts bypasses so it doesn't get logged. Dear lord, you must not be paying attention... As I previously mentioned there must be a hacker on the server ~50 servers actually have helicopters. Servers with helicopters have had them spawned in by hackers, ADMINS CANNOT SPAWN ITEMS OR VEHICLES.

Are you high? why on earth would the developers give an admin the ability to kill someone with the press of a button. To be honest the items you got were probably farmed not spawned, but either way admins can't spawn anything unless they are hacking. Also you were getting voted to be kicked, if the admin wanted you gone you would have instantly been kicked.

You do get banned for hooking ArmA 2 with BE running. The only difference is that you can hook it in a way that is not detected... It's the blind leading the blind on this forum... -

Sure, remove your beta folder from your OA directory and install 95099 (the last patch before 1.62). I always make backups of my expansion/beta folder every time a major update is released.

in the main menu of ArmA 2 CO/OA what is the number in the bottom right? It should read 1.62.95208 if it is different then the patch has installed incorrectly or not at all. Also, you are installing it using the executable from here? http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php It's running on FR16, your tool is wrong or needs to be refreshed.

Server should have ping kicks enabled, they are enabled in battleye.cfg. The server I manage has it set to 275, I've seen people in the thousands get kicked, most of the time they are downloading or uploading something.

sorry i meant to say 95099. The update 95168 is not a beta it is an Release Candidate (RC) which edits more than the expansion\beta folder and thus requires a reinstall or full backup of the game. -

95168 is not backwards compatible it is 1.62 RC1, most servers currently run 1.61 95099. -
If you are looking for client-side color mapping then FXAA and SMAA will not do the trick for you. FXAA is a small bit worse than SMAA you should use that instead. Single player vehicles not spawning

Vehicles do not "spawn" there are placed on the database side. Since your single player mission is not connected to a database there are no vehicles present.
