Sorry, my server uses ~6Mbps - 10Mbps when full (50 players). Home lines are not meant for sustained upstream bandwith, or hosting servers (most of the time it is against your ISP's TOS). Even then, maxing out your actual bandwith is a completely idiotic option when hosting a server.

if you have a quad core processor use -exthread=7 in your startup parameters for your DayZ shortcut. If you have no idea how to do this you should A. google or B. give up all hope.

IT KICKS YOU BEFORE YOU JOIN. Obviously this is a security feature, and yes you can modify or delete a .pbo which results in this error. Just because he didn't make it into the game does not mean he was clean.

Xfire does not detect ArmA 2 CO/OA if you are running a beta client (as in ArmA 2 OA beta). So, it will not work with DayZ since you are required to run a beta build; Xfire in-game does not work with ArmA 2 at all.

The thing is most of you people bashing CE3/UE3/4 simply do not understand what the engine is and does. Most of you refer to the net code which is somewhat separate and completely re-workable when you say it can't be done. The fact is, almost anything can be redone/reworked in an open source engine such as CE3 and UE3/4. You'll also have to realize in reality only 12 square kilometers of Chernarus has anything on it. I just made a 262Km map no problem, of course it has nothing on it yet. (so it's not as hard as you think)

Those have a chance of spawning in pretty much any loot pile, especially military. Also you get that stuff from the people you kill out there.

havent been in a town for over 2 weeks now, you eat animals you kill and drink stagnant water from disgusting cesspools/lakes.
