Well when you take it out of context, or you are an idiot it sounds really bad. what he ACTUALLY said was given the batch of incorrect/false bans there still may have been cheaters that got detected because of the false reason. In reality, this is a small number, essentially he is saying that so many people have been un-banned that have been wrongfully banned that the amount of hackers in the bunch is not a big deal (if any). -

I have no idea why you would do something like that... please move them into the correct directory. bikey files go into the KEYS folder, not bisign files. bisign files go into the same folder as the corresponding .pbo file, so you will need to put them back into the expansion/addons and addons folders, do it correctly and this should work. -

ArmA 2 servers generally do all of the AI processing for the players. so a well optimized mission/AI routines and great CPU will help much much more than an SSD. Also, this guide causes awful desync in vehicles on a fresh startup with less than 10 players. did some tweaking and it's much better, although it's pretty much back to the way it was before. -
in the folder: Profile\Users\Name edit your Name.ArmA2OAProfile for the selected difficulty preset. Download the cfgdayzDEFAULT.zip from the server hoster file repository and edit config files from there.

FR16 is actually in the UK however, the ip is sometimes geolocated as being in France, that's how it got the name FR16 (lol). Latency is always lower than 150ms for an American, I get ~90ms on the east coast.

Only play on good server, (shameless self promotion) like FR16.

Quitting when loading in or stuck at loading will reset your player location to the shore. It's impossible to save your location indefinitely this patch because you'll never load in some servers and you will be forced to reset your player, it's unavoidable.

You want that MK48, that's a rare find and it's much better than any of those weapons. Besides, why the hell would you want to downgrade to a 9mm or 5.62x45mm from a 7.62x51mm?

Try running ArmA 2 OA directly. Disabling a mod in the expansion menu requires the game to restart to take affect. -

Mine reset to 0 then it restored, however it was 10k greater than before. You respawn as a bandit with 0 humanity then your humanity goes up to 150 then quickly back to 0 and you morph to a survivor. -

Any info on how long it will take for the DayZ on six updater to be updated? I like to think that players on my server are smarter than some of the people posting about how SU is "broken," but I'd rather not take the chance.

more than 1 chopper = spawned in choppers by a player. Expect the chopper to vanish upon server restart.

I'll point you in the right direction: you will need to setup a mysql, as far as I know this is the only supported, database. If you don't know or can't figure out how to do that please don't bother attempting to set up a private server.

I don't understand what the problem is here, an ALPHA is for adding new features and testing how things react. A BETA is generally for improving code, making it more stable and efficient. In all honestly the ideal setup would be similar to one of a github development. There should be a trunk, stable, and unstable repository, but I doubt most people would be able to operate with this level of "complexity.: seeing people around the forums bitching about how an ALPHA is unstable is just ridiculous, honestly, you know how this stuff works, if you don't like it don't test it until it's proven to be stable enough for you.
