Having your base be destroyed is just apart of the game yes it does suck but it happens. I believe Epoch had the same thing where you had to maintain your building in a similar way, but they fixed it where you did not have to. I know Rust is a different game but like Epoch they had destructible buildings and I think it works. Breaking in is just a question of how prepared the owner has made the defenses and how determined the burglar/anarchist is. Although I don't think rocket is too keen on "above ground" player buildings but he was not to hash on maybe securing a building. He did throw around the idea of having a underground base as a separate instance that groups of players could build evil genius style. In real life if no one is at your base, asleep or off doing something else and someone with ill intent comes knocking they wont go well no ones home I cant do anything I might as well leave. They would break in and steal/kill anything/anyone inside its bad and it sucks but it happens.

One thing I want to do would be to host a Fight club since fist fighting has been added. People could bet with random items or mainly high grade ammo, and a medic could standby with a defibrillator and medical equipment. If they could could make it where you could only have one bullet in a random cylinder coupled with the suicide option and it would work perfectly.

I cant remember was Pobeda dam above sea level. I think with time they could problay make proper looking river. They could probably make a whole area devoted to rivers similar to Lingor. -
They have done the same thing in Epoch and Origins with buildings and it worked. The issue with new players not having shelters and being at the whim of the elements was solved in the mod, with items like heat packs and being able to build fires.

I cant really say I am for or against a timer. It dose not really seem like a bad idea as long as it was not a ridiculously long timer, they could prob have it as a server feature the admin could choose. On the bad side it just seems like another reason for some bandit to go around shooting people so they have to wait. But I def agree we do need a proximmity/combat detector to help stop combat logging. And if they could do something similar to Rust with sleepers and have combat loggers character pass out. -

I hoped they would think of something like this it is a really good idea. There are a bunch of facilities that are govt controlled or would be in a crisis that without constant maintenance bad things happen. If you find certain protective gear you could freely loot these areas. The basic gear although still rare would have little to no gear slots, the extremely rare protective gear would have more slots and and protection. With the different statuses they have for items they could have radio activity and you would have to decontaminate the items b4 you use/wear them. It would be interesting if they had safe areas that were unreachable unless you had the right gear. A clan could have a base protected by radiation as a 1st line of defense. There are plenty of industrial businesses and buildings that require hazmat gear on sight as well as the gasmask we already have in game.

Yeah I do really like the boat and who knows what else they are going to add that will be similar. The 1st thing I wanted to do when I saw pics for the boat was to host a Fight Club inside, people could bet with ammunition. It does remind me of the Skadovsk, it would be really cool to see it turned into a trading post. Hopefully they do add so barricades that you can build to properly fortify the area. -
Yeah I really liked the bridges in taviana. I think dean said that he did want to add extra islands, so maybe we can get a tavi style group of islands to head to.

For the people who keep having the respawn a friend and I have found that it seems to happen more often directly after restarts. We usually wait 2 or 3 mins b4 logging back in. Also woot woot on the sawed off I have been waiting for one since I 1st played the mod, now we just need a Obrez sawed off mosin. -
Yeah imagine tracking down a murderous bandit after he just killed someone and serving justice. It would definitely be intense slowing following a blood trail, not knowing what would be on the other end.

I would really like random levels of fog In the Misery mod for the 3rd stalker game they have a couple different levels. I went out for a early morning mutant hunt it was dawn and there was a light amount of fog on the ground and some off in the distance obscuring my long range view. I was moving threw the streams and cattails, as I moved on it grew worse and I couldn't see 50 feet in front of me and I hear a splash to my right I turn and aim my gun for a moment but nothing. I move on and suddenly I can barley see 15,20 feet in any direction and all I can hear are chirping frogs and distant echos of gunfire. At that moment I thought that if this was a game like DayZ it would be insane. If they added things that would really obscure your vision like fog and heavy rain(witch misery also has) it would make a lot of moments that much more intense.

That would be really cool if they added all of those things, I already really like all the tiny creeks&streams around the map. -
In Chernobyl Diaries they were just mutants, in the end they are called test subjects. But I am not even going to call the things that were in 24 days/weeks zombies, it wasn't fun in the mod either when every zombie was as fast as you. When you start out you can get in a situation where all you are doing is running with a pet zed on your heels. I think the ponit is that you have to make a decision to kill the zombie or move out of the area and not get any loot. It will be a much harder decision when they add more in a area so melee becomes harder, and when infection from zed attacks becomes more of a threat. If you have played NMRIH the runners are far more dangerous but the slow ones can kill you just as easily.

I like the new motions the zeds have, when your starting out and one starts shambling towards you it reminds me of all of the classic Romero zombie movies. Its still alpha so they will be working on the zed amount and the rarity of bullets. But I wouldn't mind a few sprinters, some fresh zeds might be able to run faster, it will be interesting to see how the life cycle is implemented

What about only being able to fire from open veh's. Like from a boat or the back of a truck or as HH suggested a atv or bike. I think they should make boats a lot better then they were in the mod. In the mod when you see a boat you pass it by not taking a second glance. But in a real situation if you had a working boat you would be doing pretty good for your self. A lot of boats have sleeping areas and facilities, it would be nice to be able to store your gear in a boat and use it as a mobile base. Could they possibly make it so you could actually log out on the boat out on the water. It would also be really interesting if they could make it so you could walk around the boat.

I like this idea a lot. I recently became addicted to Misery for Stalker C.O.P. they have a bunch of everyday items you can use together with weapon cleaning kits. A example would be the small bore rifle cleaning kit could only be used on a rifle that has not gone below 75% it would give 10% as a base but you could add a item like steel wool (+2%) or a spare parts kit(+10%). They also had better kits for things at 25%(large gun repair box) and things that were worse that would only repair at 90%(gun oil) although it could be used for any gun. I think it made gun repair deeper things like gun oil or spray were for preventive maintenance, and the repair boxes and kits were for repairing and replacing parts.

While .22 might not be perfect for pvp they will def be good for zombies, and you will prob be able to hold a lot of ammo. lol yeah looking at the place where it should be it looks so naked, but I guess they did that so you don't have a auto bayonet. -

Yeah what ever change, players will adapt to it. But I wander when they will do away with SD ammo althogether and make all ammo rare.
