Hello, my name is john, and my username is john55223; a little generic. I have skype, and i have a mic. I live on the east coast of the United States, so I hope you live somewhere near here, so I can actually play with you :D. I have a bit of experience with DayZ, and love to play, but get bored fast without a friend. I have had DayZ for about 2 weeks, and play for about 2 hours a day if I am solo, but am on the computer for at least 6 a day, and have 5 hrs to put into dayz :). Not much else to say, but if you want to get to know me better, john55223 is my skype :P

Hi, I recently bought DayZ, maybe two weeks ago, and i love to play with other people. The issue is, the two people that I use to play with have quit the game, about 2 days ago, due to the hackers they have encountered with me. I am looking for people to play with, as this game is difficult and boring when playing solo. Here is a little bit about me: I am 14 years old, and I live in New York, United States. I can speak both Russian, and Ukrainian, and do not forget I live in America, so English is obvious. I like to play zombie apocolypse games, and to hang out with friends. I play a lot of MineZ when I am not playing DayZ, or it is raining outside. I currently have a decent microphone, and pretty much every voice-chat program out there, skype, teamspeak, raidcall, and of course steam. I have been trying to get the best out of my DayZ experience, finding vehicles, and new guns, and in general exploring the map. I am usually glued to the coast, and would love a group to go further in-land with.

Added both of you, would be nice if we all used steam, but its better to play with people, than to not :)

I have checked dayz commander, and Tons of servers I have never joined, are in my recent section. I haven't downloaded anything, ANYTHING Cept for things off dayz commander since I got The game. I have only played on three servers, and my computer is safe from friend and family... Is this a bug? What action do you recommend?

Today I just joined a private server. I have never joined it.... and I have an mk? tons of random gear, and there is NO starting gear... I am very nervous of this.... I repeat, my computer has a good password, and is always locked when i am not here... my sister is 8 and doesn't play dayz for sure, and my bro is 3, self explainatory

So me and my buddies were out in electro. When scavenging for supplies, we saw a tractor, and it ran one of my two friends over. We helped him into An alley way, and gave him morphine. Soon, the hacker offers us the tractor as a sorry gift, claiming that my friend stepped infringing f the tractor. I decided it was best to just wait for him to leave. We crawled into a building, my friend and I, and waited. Soon he discovered our location, and stepped inside. After seeing my friend, he put all his focus towards him, and didn't notice me behind him. Then I struck, my mighty hatchet broke his legs, then knocked him unconscious. After looting the machine gun, NVGs and a GPS, my mom needed help. As frustrated as I was, I aborted and went to the lobby. After I came back. My friend explained how the hacker teleported back with a machine gun, and shot him. Hacker: zeephb or something as such

Hey everyone. I have installed the game, using DayzCommander today, and am trying to join a chernarus server. When I do I got a message, saying I cannot play/edit the game, since the content has been deleted... I have used dayz commander to install the content in the first place. I am using the steam version of the game, will this pose an issue? Yes, I have both operation arrowhead, and ArmaII

I have copied and pasted all my chernarus stuff from arma II into @dayz addons, and I can connect now properly. MY new issue is I am kicked from a server I am playing on every few minutes, and the admins are NOT doing it, I am actually in the TS3 server with them. They have no clue how to fix this! neither do i! Everything is up to date according to DayZcommander The admins say that something might be screwed up with my actual arma files, is there a fix other than a re-install?

Yes, I have. I am also using DayzCommander to launch the game, and both the steam settings are checked(ticked). I have tried to look in the archive of errors or whatever, and I cannot find a fix that works for it... EDIT: I have also tried to re-install dayz

So I recently bought the game, and decided to play. It was one session I will easily forget, due to the boredom. I couldn't find a weapon, and the two times that a zombie hit me, I instantly started bleeding. I am disappointed to see that you cannot start out with a weapon. Something small such as the makarov would be nice, even with two bullets. I think that the zombies need to be slightly buffed, and their Ai improved, so that they could try and cut you off; great addition to the standalone. I enjoied my second try, got lucky and found a hatchet, and got about 6 bandages, unfortunately the end to that was a teleport into the air and in front of a hackers ak. I cannot wait to continue my adventure tomorrow, enjoy

Dr. Duff, I meant buffed, as in their AI is improved, and they are able to run in buildings so forth, and lower the possibility of bleeding in 1 hit. When you first start, without a weapon, is when you will be attacked the most by zombies, as you cannot defend yourself from them. Realistically, if a zombie grabs you, you will not bleed, so if you want to further take this argument to realism, there is my POV on that. This is meant to be a game, not a simulation, hence the standalone URL is dayzgame.com, NOT dayzsimulator.com. This game is meant to be frustrating, pose realism, and be fun to play at the same time. Making something over realistic, such as being able to be shot and die instantly, is taking the game to the point where you gotta say, alright this is hardcore, do I really wanna do this? Giving zombies the ability to kill a player in 1 hit, is slightly over powered. My POV on weapons is, you should spawn with a Makarov, and 1 mag, but you cannot lose zombies by hiding in bushes, trees, and running through buildings, as they should have the ability to run through buildings as well. As this all may not be possible with the current mod, it would be a great addition to the SA. I believe that many thought spawning with a Makarov was over powered, because not a lot of people own a gun, and most likely that zombies are pretty easy to lose just running through buildings as I have learned today. I like the game as it is, but I think it is missing something, but no one is sure what. There are plenty of cool things that could be added to DayZ to make it more fun, but more realism is NOT one of them. I can see the POV where realism makes games more fun, but if Rocket decided that all guns could one shot kill players, that would be more realistic, but would definitely take out any, and I mean ANY fun in the game. Blood sort of acts like an HP bar, but it does not regenerate, unless you get food and eat it. I don't even know, I posted what my first thoughts on the game were when I just played it for the first time, and I am willing to bet that my opinions will change over the course of my playing of the game. I have not played this for a long time, and have just recently bought it, but I have watched sacriel play it, and RhinoCRUNCH. I have some things to learn, and would love to join your group to progress through this game. Other than that, I have fulfilled all of the requirements laid out by you.
