What is the difference between an m107, and a DMR? The DMR knocks you out, and you slowly bleed to death, while the m107 saves you the misery. A military helicopter is sent with a squad of snipers and infantry. The chopper's pilot was bit before takeoff, and the chopper crashes in a field, killing all aboard. Their weapons and equipment remain amongst the wreck. That was a simple exlaination of how the weapons are in the game. I have had helicopters shot down by killers with their as50's. Temporary anger came over me, but in the end I realize it is a game, and the snipers should have fun as well. Why ruin someone elses game style, because you don't know how to stay hidden? Why can't you prepare I die whenever you leave your camp? Sure, getting sniped in Cherno isn't fun. Persistence is key, and you will prevail if you dont give up. Simply avoid major towns, get food and water, then return when everyone is away, gear up, an get revenge. I want to keep these beasts in the game, because life isn't fair, and because I want a challenge. I don't want to fly my helicopter knowing I am invincible. I want to feel danger every step I take. Xianu, If as50 round hit your hand, you would be missing it. Therefore you would bleed out. Edit: also, there isn't more than three people with as50's per server depending on population

There are plenty of good private servers. Balota buddies is great from what I here. I made the sad mistake of using aim junkies for tf2, so can't play there :( Anyways, good luck on your hunt for a good server

Have these admins seen the ban appeals section of these forums? There are script kiddies making pathetic attempts to get unbanned since their daddy won't buy them a copy of the game.... These admins are what I call useless shit. It is their job o check the players dayz career, to make sure their ban is being issued for proper reasons. Don't join clan severs, end of issue

Chabowski, I have heard of the guns being able to shoot throw some walls. People say sometimes it's glitches, but other say it is suppose to happen. I personally hope it is suppose to happen, but the chances of hitting one through a wall are slim. Creepysalad, have you fired an as50, or m107 at all? Edit: Chabowski, I am pretty sure anyone could fire a sniper after some practice shots... In real life, less likely due to wind, but if there was no wind interference, you would just need to learn how to determine ones distance, and how to zero a sniper...

Minamo, thank god, I was beginning to think that only absent minded people read my threads. I can see where you are coming from, and I see you have a certain play style. My play style goes a little as: get a sniper, shoot Cherno snipers, get shot in the face with an as50. Weapons are becoming more and more powerful, and soon the army will need to make Halo style battle armor for the soldiers. If we survive another 30 years, every gun will be 1 shot 1 kill without some sort of armor. People ask for realism, yet want the as50 removed. This makes no logical sense, because even some military vets keep their snipers on display.

I don't think I was talking about a "ultimate-super-lazer gun of badassness." I was talking about a modern sniper rifle. They cannot I through walls, and are not "super overpowered" because whoever is shooting it, can get shot just as easily. Try to read the whole post before posting something ridiculously.... Wrong.

Don't you think the military would ur their best gear to protect themselves, and get rid of these things? How about let the game be a game, and let everyone play it. I have died to douche bags that killed me after I gave then blood transfusions. I have had my Huey shot down from the sky with an as50. Yes I get pisses, then I realize that it is a game, and let whoever shot me down enjoy it.

Tbh, I would like to see both military vehicles and civilian vehicles in the game. If you see military barricades, their humvees everywhere, why wouldn't 1-2 tanks survive? Why are helicopter so bad, I don't think zombies would try to fly them... In a real life scenario, you would find hundreds of tanks, and other vehicles all over. Driving them should be the issue.

If you play on the same server, and it is a private hive, your progress is only saved there. If you play on a US #### server, it's public hive, and your stuff can transfer to other servers that have two letters and a number
