Ive got a L82. Its almost like cheating. It should be removed imo. And its not rare either. Looting a few chopper sites will turn one up (along with other fancy noob guns what shouldnt be in the game - like the M107 TWS and other crap). And I killed 2 guys who also had the L82, so not that rare at all.

Gives the user a massive advantage. You can just point the scope at a town and it will show up zombies and survivors alike in the blink of an eye. I say they should be removed, any thermal sight weapon. I have one, BTW (L82)

Well looking at the general section now, there are more than a few threads that could be moved and thats just the first page. Why dont you warn people for posting in the wrong section, or maybe give a warning to people that they must start a new thread in the correct section - before they create said thread. Can you put that to your forum overlord?

Why dont you mods create more sections. 90% of the posts in general discussion belong elsewhere. Its just awful too read, are you afraid to move posts or what? Setup a section for whiners and mover their posts there. There are 25000 members and they post in one place.

There is no impact crator so it could be part of the game, ya just never know sometimes. But its likely a hacker who spawned it.

Its up to server operators to find and ban cheaters as all the cheating is local. They can then share their ID's/IP's with the rest of the servers. Its not hard to find someone running cheats on your server, there are a few ways to find em. Perhaps the developers can make a sticky for the operators that are new to Arma

Haha. Pal, the addons folder is part of the Arma game. Dont mess with anything other than whats in the @dayz folder. Those addons you deleted are causing the errors.
