There are a bunch of cows on a pasture inland.... forget which town. I remember the route, but not the name. There are 3 to 4 at a time, and a little shack. Also, near the buildings above berezino, the little village usually has a boar or deer skulking around in the trees.

I play for the enjoyment of being able to be a raw human. By raw human, I mean without the constraints of a society. there are no laws, no rules, just like it would be for real. And i enjoy the fact that any scenario I want can be played out, in a semi realistically manner. The fact that its fun comes second.

Ive gone all the way down the coast from berezino to electro, and havent seen a single person. The buildings are all unlooted too. Its crazy.

Does anyone know if we can craft arrows for bows? its seems like if we cant then they are a bit too rare.

Im not sure. i have recovered a crossbow bolt before. However, they dont actually stick in the thing you shoot (something to do with collision.) and so yo have to make sure they hit a tree or building if you want to pick them back up.

Im friendly. With the addition of fishing and hunting, Its become way easier again. Just like in Arma 2 mod, I like to get some gear off the coast, like canteens, and some good clothes. ( I currently run full black or brown farmers clothes) Then I get an axe, machete, and hoe/shovel in my backpack and get away from the coast. I get a bow and a fishing pole, then secure a lure and some arrows. Once there, you can make easy food out of the fish or wild game. I prefer fires because they cook quicker for now, and take less sace than a cooker and frying pan/ cooking pot, but fires make a lot of light, and this attracts people like all get out. but really, once yove got the canteens, a lake, and a fishing pole, you can make it indefinitely. I also try to not have to kill players. Really, I try to avoid them altogether unless I see some one getting attacked or robbed, then I usually just try to scare off the attackers with some arrows, otherwise I kill them. Sometimes, I go to the coast and hand out free meat just to interact with people, but once you find a good spot in the woods with the essentials, theres no need for anything else.

Anyone know how many types of fish there are? I made a character who is literally just outdoors (hunts with a blaze, fishes with fishing pole, and cooks in the woods using a gas stove.) I just caught a few carp, and i was wondering if different bodies of water had different fish? anyone know yet?

Yea they give a lot of meat if you gut them with a pristine machete. (93-97% of 1 KG. This is because each fish is 2 KG, after gutting you have the two cuts.) So its a good bit of food. I actually just lost my meat, hook, and cooking gear to a server reset because it took over 15 minutes to cook.

Im not! i was rather inspired by the troll who jumped me with a wrench immediately after respawning, only to get knocked out and beaten to death with his own wrench. I also met him later when he ambushed me, and I broke his legs with a hoe and let him get eaten! Also, when you are good at finding the hooks and ashwood trees, its not hard to get the things back! Ill have tales later, Im sure.

Oh, too bad. but hey, they got a ton of meat on them! I plan to go down the coast in character helping out noobs with free fish meals. Just because I enjoy making a character with a story! maybe if i find a walkie talkie, I can hail some body. Thanks for the answer!

So I just killed my first boar, and got a bunch of nice steaks off him for my frying pan! (now to get some fish with my new fishing pole! Surf and Turf!) but I was a bit confused with the pelt. is there any use for it? A guy in a group i met earlier said there was a way to make a backack with certain pelts, but im not sure. Anyone know for sure?

I have a gas mask, and i gotta say..... It works with most modern helmets, at least those that are based on the Stalenhelm. (which a lot of modern ones are, due to its efficiency.)

I might be wrong, but considering how rough boar pelt is, I dont think that would be a good idea.

Ok. Also, do you know if frying pans and cooking pots do anything yet?

So it would be the same as a bag made with rope and burlap? or is there a different texture for pelt bags?
