Is survival enough of a goal to give this game enough replay value? I've played the game for a few lives and keep hitting the same fun plateau. Once you have collected enough stuff to fill up your pack and survive for awhile what are you supposed to do for fun? In real life you would go hole up until you got hungry/thirsty/sick but what fun is sitting around in a virtual forest waiting to catch the flue? There is no point in scavenging or stealing stuff that you can't fit in your bag unless it's better stuff but let's be honest, virtual beans taste just as good as virtual pasta. There are no other ways to interact with players other than talking and shooting. There is no way to really make any mark on your world by rebuilding or destroying what's left of civilization or at the very least building a lean to in the woods. It seems like the only design choices then are to either make it next to impossible to ever reach that comfort level and force the player to constantly be scavenging or add a bunch of other stuff into the game to give players something to do beyond PvP :D I love the work you guys are doing, it's been a new and interesting experience!
Why are you guys arguing about something that Rocket admitted needs more work and is in fact working on it? Why not just see what he comes up with and go from there?
