Sceptre (DayZ)

One of the biggest 'issues' with this game is that fighting the zombies just isn't very much fun. They zig zag around without rhyme or reason, glitch out frequently, can break your bones in one hit (and since you no longer spawn with morphine, that alone is enough reason to suicide your character to make a new one) and even when you do shoot them, it takes a few seconds for the gameworld to actually register the hit so it doesn't even feel that satisfying to kill them. All of this was OK with the old zombie AI, because the zombies were not the main threat in the game. Players were. The zombies were simply there to punish you for mistakes and to force you to move slowly through towns. This in turn created interesting situations for other players to interact with each other, be it befriending or killing each other. However with these new super zombies, looting has become impossibly tedious. You have to be lying down practically the entire time you move through a town, which just isn't very much fun, nor is it more realistic than the alternative. Many people from my group are pretty turned off by this latest update, I hope these new hyper zombies go away very quickly, because they just aren't very much fun nor do they contribute to the game in any meaningful way.

Hi guys, I've been playing this mod for almost 2 weeks now (loving the shit out of it), but I recently have experienced a pretty major problem. For some reason, I can no longer see any of the chat. I can see Server messages, (like who has died and what not) but side/group/direct chat do not pop up at all. I'm not sure if this has been caused by me activating some sort of option I wasn't aware of, I'm not terribly familiar with the ARMA engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
