I just died at the north west airport, I ran from the control tower to the firestation and fainted due to zombies hitting me (don't ask sucha fail) Anyway I have loads of stuff, m14 with ammo, m107 with ammo and night vision goggles. If someone would be so kind as to loot my body and retrieve my m107 with the 2 clips you can have my night vision and m14, and anything else for that matter. All I want is my baby back :P If you're up for it, add me on steam nogert191 and I'll tell you the server name, don't worry there's not many people on it and as far as I know there was no one at the airport it was just my dumb ass that got myself killed.

Any game has hackers, what should be in place is something from rocket, i.e. some sort of tracking that allows users to get back loot if it was an unfair death.

Ok about 4 hours ago I lost, cco sd, coyote pack, night vision, range finder, gps, ghuillie suit, as50 and a m107 all with plenty of ammo. to a hacker that spawned me onto a beach, I alt tabbed with ridiculous speedy reflex but before I could get out I had hit the ground and died. Now later, I'm not as pissed as I was, but merely demotivated to play again. partly due to the fact that it will take me a long time to get all that stuff back, but also because it can be taken away again at the blink of an eye to hackers. Is there anything I can in order to survive hackers?

It's ok dude, like I said I've kind of lost the dayz motivation right now. I may play again in a few days or maybe this will be the final straw and I'll forget about this game. The latter would be nice considering all the stress it gives me lol.

I suppose I can understand why they don't let admins deal with this stuff as it could get out of hand, has Rocket got plans for hackers, because like I said, any other game, it's just annoying, hackers on this game will literally destroy it and stop people from playing.

lol, typo. This game is one of those games where hacking is not just an annoyance it can take away weeks of work in an instant, would it be possible for rocket to check when players died and how? And if the player suddenly jumped across the map and dies, he's refunded his gear?

Just lost as50, m107, ghuile, m9sd, gps, night vision, range finder and cco SD to a hacker. I alt-4d's instantly but it wasn't quick enough, anyone want to gear me and my friend back up? :D We've both really lost motivation to carry on playing now :(

We we're just logging in to teach our friend how to play the game, but as soon as we got in, we heard a helicopter approaching. The helicopter saw us and hovered above us for a few seconds before someone parachuted out. We then hid in the pine trees because we didn't know where he had landed. People who say don't get attached to gear are just plain wrong, the gear is integral to the game, if you don't get attached to your gear the game is worthless, I don't care what people say this is a loot based game. Your entire experience is about finding and getting that loot! How can you be expected to just shrug off a death? It's devastating, it's horrible, but you get over it. But yeah, what you actually had wasn't that great, you'll get stuff like that no problem again.

I've been there a few times and the graphical glitches are so bad that you can't cover anyone. The loot doesn't seem to spawn there now as well. Does anyone even go to stary in this current patch?

Can't rocket simply make it so that the command alt-f4 kills your character?

Just run.. building to building, be eratic. I can run through cherno in 10 minutes having looted everything that spawns the good stuff, and without seeing a single person or getting a single zombie hit.

Happens all the time, I can't figure out a pattern to it too, it just seems to randomly decide that today your stuff is going to go. If you take car a fill up a car, leave it in the car for a while before putting it in a tent, it seems like too many changes fuck it up.

I stole everything from a tent last night, came on today and passed it again, I had a quick and every thing had re spawned, but I still have it all in my tent. Is this a common problem? Also sometimes when I put something in my tent, it doesn't save, but my friend's stuff saves.

So I was just walking around and I noticed these two survivors running across the field, I quickly reached for my binoculars and checked to see what they had. They had nothing, not weapons no backpacks. I decided to run towards them, when I got in talking range I started speaking to them, I said hello many times but there was no answer. They started gaining distances on me even though I was sprinting so I had no choice but to try and slow them down. I shot one guy and got a kill, but fortunately managed to hit the other guy in the leg and slow him down. I then approached the injured survivor and asked him what he was doing. The thing is I actually know the admin who runs this server, and he was the one who asked me to upload this because he was just as confused as I was.

I couldn't keep track of them though lol, I had two running off, one crawling and another back on the road that you didn't see, they were nearish my camp and at the time I though maybe they were hackers, so I wanted them gone haha.

When you say private do you mean locked? I play on a very public server.

Sometimes when I put things in my tents I'll come back later or log back on and they are gone. I know these are stolen items because they never take my cars which are right by it. Is this a common bug? If this is the case is there any tips in order to combat this? I'm so scared to put my nvg's in my tent that I wear them everywhere I go, which is not what I want to do.
