Dropped dead, no change in blood

But my blood was at 9k up until the very last moment before the death screen. There was no white flash either. -
Hotfix Build 1.7.1.4 Rolling Update (was 1.7.1.3)

So what's the update guys, it's clear everyone hates the new zombies, the game has become impossibly hard and is borderline unplayable. Has Rocket commented on this? -

Hotfix Build 1.7.1.4 Rolling Update (was 1.7.1.3)
[email protected] replied to rocket's topic in Mod Announcements & Info
I just tried to play the game, and it's almost impossible, the zombies are running at me from ridiculous distances, it seem the crouch run is too loud. -
I think this game has a major flaw in that it's become so intense that when it's over it's too much to start again. I've just spent 6 days alive with my friend, we'd been everywhere, I had a DMR with 5 magazine which I was so happy about, for 4 days I had waited for action, just hoping that I could be in a position to spot a survivor and possibly get into a interesting situation, but nothing really arose. The only situation that did arise was when we saw a survivor on the airfield, we watched him as he went building to building, until finally we had a shot on him. He jumped into a bush and we knew we had him, it was a flat field and he had nowhere to go. he had to come out from the behind the bush at something point. Well nope he just quit. Anticlimactic right? Well that was the entire experience, today the 6th day, nothing had happened, we'd been up north, down the east coast, south coast everywhere. I finally get to a lake just outside a town and we decide to refill our bottles, I walk up the hill to get in the tree line and I'm shot in the back, I'm dead. 6 days of hard work, hoping for some great memorable moments, just shot down in a instant. It was a shit dead, not even a fire fight.. completely anticlimactic and boring. Now I just don't want to play again.. it was too much work for nothing. TLDR Spent 6 days on the game, nothing happened, anticlimactic death, don't want to play again. Anyway, my point behind all this, is why not add a second chance? just one chance to spawn maybe within a 5 mile radius of your death to recover your stuff?

Demoralising and anti climactic end :(
[email protected] replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
As I've said before, I was not annoyed by the fact I was killed by a sniper rifle, I understand that this is a part of the game, I love sniping too, it's more the fact that I had some pretty rare items that I never got to use, and I didn't have the opportunity to get back. -

Can I just clarify, people are saying that I was going to kill someone with a sniper so I'm a hypocrit. My argument is not that this was a cheap kill and wasn't fair, this isn't my frustration at all, my frustration is that I just lost everything, it would be nice to have the chance to get my stuff back. Once again I really have no problem with the dying part, it's the unforgiving nature of the death and restart that is my problem. And this was just made all the more worse considering over the 6 day span I had nothing but absolute bull shit disconnecting people every time it got interesting. -

No' date=' that's not it at all, people play this game and there are ups and down throughout one life. I spent 6 days on the game, one guy disconnected when we had him locked down and 2 days after that I get shot in the back without a chance. [hr'] -

How about making disconnect zones on the game? like safe zones where no one can shoot, and you can only disconnect there. But what do you think about giving the player a second wind? A second chance to get back to where he died to recover some of his loot. -

So how do we hide from zombies? -
Infected visibility increased (but limited by LOS) Ok 1. what is LOS, and 2. This is bullshit I feel like I've really learnt how to play the game and deal with zombies. Now I've got no idea how close I can crawl next to them etc.

Currently the vehicles seem a little bit of a bonus, and they are unstable, anyone can steal it at any point. I don't mind the fact it can be stolen when you are online. It is your job to defend it, but when you logoff it seems unfair. So here's my idea. When you find the newly spawned vehicles you can take the key. You can only start the engine, and open the boot of the car with this key. If you wish to steal the vehicle you must kill the owner of the vehicle and loot the key. (the key doesn't take an inventory slot, it's like a special item slot. Now in order to stop people just taking keys off all the spawned cars, you must fix up the car to a working order before you can take the key.(don't moan that this is unrealistic, in this game you can do a full blood transfusion in 5 seconds) Now this means you can logoff and know that your vehicle is safe (Not from being destroyed) Because lets be honest, it's kind of unrealistic that every survivor can hot wire every type of vehicle including boats and heli's! This could be interesting because you may see a jeep parked up just outside cherno, then you could maybe wait it out for the owner to return. Or you could be a dick and just blow it the fuck up :)

20 words or less: Spawning without a weapon
[email protected] replied to rocket's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Don't forget this is game and it's success is based by the fact that it's still mainstream, don't make the game unappealing to casual players too. -

I really disagree, the fun for me is the prospect of eventually getting vehicle and plenty of loot and supplies. The one thing for me that ruins this game is the fact that it's just not secure. It makes me think what's the point in trying on this game. I know rocket said this was an experiment, well surely the experiment is over now, I think it's time to turn this into an actual game.

Ok I was in cherno with full food, drink, temp etc and I'v just logged in to find my player in the ocean. I swam to the shore and noticed temp, food and drink was flashing. I had some water but no food. I'm going to die. What do I do? This isn't really fair and I'm on a 3-4 day life here. I've collected so much stuff and would hate to have to start from scratch.
