Yeah I've noticed this, but the next server start it always comes back, what I'm experiencing is not a server restart issue, I can literally pop something in my tent, run away for a while and come back to find it hasn't saved and is now gone. It's not been stolen though as other much rarer things are still in my tent/

I downloaded this patch last night, I came on this morning to check my camp, it was fine, I parked up my tractor and logged out for a bit, then I come on 2 hours later and it's all gone, my tents and my tractor. I thought we may have been looted but I have two camps and they are not close by each other, and they have both gone. I then went to check on a friendly camp I knew about much farther east and it too has gone, all 4 tents just disappeared.

I play solo, plus sometimes I play with a friend but I want to join a bigger squad, I'm fairly good at the game, almost every battle I get in I win, or escape alive. Not to mention when me and my friend play we usually come out on top even against groups or 3-4. Anyway I'm looking for mature player, from the UK who work as a team with good tactics. please add me on steam! my username is Nogert191

I play on DE105 which is first person server I've managed so far by my self but now it's just not safe to go into stary and the airfield. Hey guys, it wasn't a trap, some awesome guy helped me out, he looted the body and I let him keep the NVG's, karma must have been on our side as when we met up we found a crashed heli site. I get a Mk 48, plus my m107 back and he got a DMR. See there's still good guys out there lol.

Well it seems like a good trade, night vision goggles for a quick trip to airport.

I absolutely promise you, why would I trap you at the airport, I mean it's the worst place to be firing guns, I lure you into the forest if I wanted to kill you lol.

How is this even possible? I mean I can understand people logging out if you scare them, but wouldn't it be really easy to code so that when a player has been shot and fainted he cannot log out?

I love making machinima, and I want to create a film within dayz. I saw someone on youtube make a video and they had a free flying camera man, plus they were using slowmotion, and even spawning in items/vehicles/clothes in order to kit out their character for a certain scene. How is all this possible? Is it possible for this to be done in a controlled private server? Without in anyway effecting my current character?

I realise this isn't the arma 2 forum but it's kind of related. It seems as though the beta patches have broken arma 2 because I can't play any of the scenarios and the training mission is bugged, I just want to play a few scenarios to get a feel for the guns but once they are loaded they just hang on a camera viewing the landscape.

I have a small camp that me and my friend uses, we have many guns and ammo and are mainly friendly. My message to all players is go ahead, take a weapon, take some ammo, but please, please. when you take everything and run down my tents, it makes me very sad :(

Oh sorry I didn't realise how this looked, I wasn't advertising my camp haha, I'm just sending a genral message out to all dayz players that if you come by a small camp, sure take a bit if you want, just don't wipe the guy out and destroy his tents.

Haha, it's just a general message for everyone on Dayz, but if you come across my camps, go for it :)

I realise this is a pretty good spot, but is there anything official yet? like maybe a separate website. I'd like to know where Rocket is going to go with the standalone game, I'm kind of worried that it will become too different. I know from writing songs, you can do two recording of the same song and both have different feels, and sometimes one is just missing what the other one had. As corny as it sounds I'm worried it will lose its magic a long the way. I genuinely think it needs to be as ruthless as it is here, there's something about the prospect of losing all your gear that makes every single encounter as exciting and adrenaline fueled as the last. And while people moan and groan about it, me included, I've slowly come to realise, it's the reason I play.

I have a tent that I accidentally set up, I don't want it there because it gives away my other tents positions. First I tried collapsing it, i did this and picked it up but when I logged back on, it was back up. I've done this many times and it just come back up. So I decided to take this a littler further, I ran the tent down with my tractor, it was flat and I thought this was it but when I logged back on it was back up! No matter what I do this thing won't budge.

hmmm wouldn't really want to leave my tractor there for too long.

Sorry I never search due to the fact that there are many versions of dayz and that when your find a similar problem or solution, it's not related to the current version.

Already tried lol,I flattened them all with my tractor. Next morning they're back up.
