Hi, whilst playing one of the namalsk servers this morning I had a very strange experience. I heard a loud bang in the distance. Then a few seconds later more familiar sounding claps of thunder, after every clap of thunder the screen would go bright white for a few seconds, this carried on for around a minute.Then, after the last clap, the screen again went white and settled down again to reveal a darkened sort of post nuclear explosion orange tinted sky.The next minute I had collapsed on the floor and it looked as though I had died as I couldn't move but there was no egg timer? The other thing I noticed was that I could still see my character breathing with the cold air.After a minute or so my character came around got up and carried on with his business, very strange, anyone ever whitness this?.

Just noticed I am ranked 35th on the server I'm playing with a score of 215.How is the calculated ?

Noticed in a few vids players keeping a check on the surrounding whilst running.Can anyone tell me how it's done? I know the alt key lets u look around but whilst I'm running it would be impossible, I don't have enough hands!

Frankie's night time sniper video got me into dayz. As soon as I saw him trying to snipe out the avionics on the helicopter I was hooked!.Then he sneaked up on two guys,mullered them an got excited about one of the guys having the coyote backpack. Not sure how much of a life he has but he puts some hours into those videos, I just can't fault him. Apart from the silly accents he puts on some times like when he's holding up people, I think he's great personally.

I played on a German server last night for around 3 hours and found practically nothing weapons wise.Are some servers tighter than others? Or maybe I was just in the wrong location? .I spent most of the time in or around the city with the international hotel, is that elektro?. Ended up getting a half decent machine gun but that's only because I found a body in the super market, the rest of the place was very sparce.

The servers I have played seem to have one rule shoot on site.Whats the point in Having the bandit skins?,95% of the people I have come across have shot the me,even jack frags has shot me ffs!,the only players that didn't kill me had no weapons. Can anyone tell me a server where people play fair!

Been back on this morning an it's a lot better, loot a plenty, until some cheap coward sneaked up on me in the woods an shot me. One question, if I try to put a gun I'm holding into my bag it's a bad idea right? It's just disappeared .

Logged in tonight to get an hour of two in.Had a great hike from the coast upto what I think is called devils castle ( waste of time) an then down over the otherside dropping into the small factory just outside cherno. Still had the basic equipment when I got there so I had a look around as I was getting thirsty and hungry. Just avoided the zombies an ran into the blue doored warehouse and boooom sat there was a pretty green little car I jumped in imediatly an razzed off bouncing a few zombies off the bonnet on my way out.I poped into cherno to pick up some bits from the supermarket (risky i know) an while in was in some knobhead tried to nick it but as he drove off for some reason he ejected himself lol.It was nearly time for me to log off so I drove the car into the woods an got out as I got out I decided to check the boot for loot an fuck me it was loaded! FAL, DMR,NVG just to name a few items I couldn't believe my luck!, I logged off, then logged back in quick as I wanted to check again i couldn't believe it! As I logged in I was sat in the car, I tried to get out an straight away I got the egg timer symbol saying I had passed out!! WTF now I have lost it all!!!! Arghhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Ok I logged back in and luckily I just had a broken leg, the guys who car it was had got morphine in there so I'm back in business!. Now sorry I'm new to this but why would this guy leave this car in such a easily discoverable place? Correct me if I'm wrong but arnt u best off leaving your car hidden as well as possible or does it matter??
