    Care to clean this verbal diarrhea up a bit so it makes a bit of sense and I can actually try to respond to something that resembles a human thought? Best I can surmise by picking through the bits of leftover corn sticking out of your shit pile of a post, it seems like you're baselessly accusing me of exploiting disconnects in order to survive because you don't believe it's actually possible to last 36 days in the game legitimately? Is that roughly it? Just making shit up about me so it seems like you have an argument? You ridiculous twat.

So maybe their first priority should be safely finding a means of defense? Holy motherfuck logic is like magic in your brain. A bullet through the eye socket is a pretty big drawback. Go find a gun and you can implement all the drawbacks you want. Fun. Not anymore! They do. Beans, bandages, soda, and ammunition are very common on zombies. Yeah, like credit cards and loose change. What are you going to do buy a candybar?

    Can always count on you, vanilladragon, to say exactly the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over with no substance and no legitimate response to anyone who calls you out on your ridiculous bullshit. My teammate and I have had 1 death in the last 36 days, 120+ hours in game working together. Maybe 5 total murders - all while exploring some of the most populated hotspots in the game, heisting vehicles, looting helicopter crashes, etc. What "deathmatch" games have you played where you can go 36 days without dying? Can you name one? Just one? To the OP: Friends are out there. Find at least one, preferably more. Always travel in groups. Going it alone and relying on the kindness of strangers is a bad idea today, and would be a worse idea after the end of the world. For now, until rocket ramps up some more communication mechanics like radios, your best bet is to find friends here on the forums or look for servers that advertise their Teamspeak3 servers and join those. Many clans are very happy to have new recruits and will take you under their wing and even help you gear up. Despite what vanilladragon says, there's plenty to do out there besides "deathmatching."

    Uhh, crawling down stairs? That's a pretty reliable way to get yourself killed in real life too. Not sure that needs fixing.

    Idea for getting people to team up ...

    Teamwork is practically all there is in this game. All those people dying all the time dragging the survival time down to 30 minutes? It's because they're not in teams or not working well with their teams. Incentives to cooperative play are prevelant and more are coming. Utilizing them is how I have survived for 17 days on my current survivor and 19 days on the previous' date=' and how my primary teammate is on day 36 all the while the average is 30 minutes... Otherwise an excellent idea and similar to one I've had myself. [hr'] Unlike this idea which is quite possibly the most retarded I've read on the forums since their inception.

    Vehicle Question

    Some vehicles spawn with gear inside. I believe the off-road pickup for example always spawns with flares, beans, and a CZ550 (no ammo).

    Then you have an even smaller percentage of players who know a thing or two about how professional QA works and understand that since character data is not changing, wiping/resetting the data after every update is pointless from a testing standpoint and actually counter-productive because it tests the same aspects of the game over and over instead of allowing servers to mature as they would in Beta or Final. Wipes in alpha are common because most games have complex character data - levels, experience, talents, skills, health, mana, etc. and as that changes it becomes necessary to test the changes. Anyway, I'm not going to have the argument again. I already explained why wipes don't help testing at this juncture and would actually be a waste of the dev's time. I just wanted to come back and respond to the "nobody lives for 30 days" bullshit.
  9. Separate windows accounts did NOT work for me. I had a Steam version installed on one windows account and installed a non-steam version on the other. It worked at first, but when I switched accounts and played with Steam, then switched back my non-steam version loaded with my steam player - presumably because steam overwrites the registry key. I've heard windows accounts working for others, and I followed the steps to a tee - but it didn't work for me. I had to write two registry scripts as detailed here: http://dayzmod.com/forum/printthread.php?tid=12236&page=1. Now it works. I run the registry script corresponding to the player I want to play, and run the game through Six Updater instead of steam and I can freely swap between my two accounts.

    I hate to necrobump such a ridiculous thread' date=' but I just wanted to return to this discussion and point out that my teammate is now on [b']Day 36. Plays every day, ~2 hours minimum - no cheats, hacks, sticks to one server and regularly raids major cities and hotspots. So, yeah.

    My DayZ experience and issue.

    I've found ~12 vehicles in the last 21 days. Keep looking. They're out there. Plenty of other threads on this topic with similar replies. The wiki's don't have a complete map. Nobody does. I know this because half the vehicles I found don't appear on any of the maps. Vehicles do not spawn on server restart. They respawn on a "secret interval" which will not be revealed for obvious reasons (camping spawns).

    Hackers RUINING This Game Completely

    ARMA 2 isn't a persistent world and it doesn't have "permadeath." The temptation to hack is less and the impact on the game more minimal (though still annoying). The game in which these hacks pose a much more serious problem is Alpha, yes. Now they will be fixed. But it takes patience. Thanks for asking.

Except for the part where Pearl Harbor didn't destroy the entire world and go on for years and years and years and never end and kill anyone and everyone that soldier ever knew with no hope of humanity's recovery in this millennia nor likely the next. You know, that little niggling detail might weigh on a person's psyche after awhile don't you think? Oh, sorry. I forgot about your dual PhDs in psychology and post-apocalyptic anthropology. Tell us more about how you know exactly how humans would behave after the end of the world. I'm actually really interested, because personally I have absolutely no fucking idea and neither do you so please shelf this retarded argument already.

    Hackers suck, but you're playing an Alpha test bud. If you were that attached to your gear you should really leave and just come back in a year or so when the game is closer to Beta. Dying doesn't "ruin" anything. Just pick a different server and try again. It's fun the 2nd and 3rd and 300th time around.
