perestain you are not looting your own body, you're looting another survivor's body. Don't think of the PC as "you" think of yourself as observing the lives (and deaths) of many different survivors. Each death is the end of one story, and so the next begins. You are not the same person, hence looting the previous corpse is not a "paradox." And anyway, once you've played a day or 2, you're never dying to zombies anyway - and when players kill you, returning to your body to retrieve your stuff is by no means a guarantee (unless of course you have friends with you to help guard your body - one of the many benefits to cooperative play that people seem to insist don't exist). -
I've had it 3 times on my current player. Twice I was only about 4000m away so it wasn't bad - maybe 15 minute run. Once, however, I was 22465m N/NW. I watched an entire movie and still wasn't home. Thankfully I had just refreshed food/water or I would have died on the way back.

Not "consistent" more like "repetitive." The whole point to testing is to cover a wide range of possible scenarios so that you find bugs in all areas of the game with all weapons, vehicles, and mechanics. Resetting every player to exactly the same point is completely and totally pointless from a testing standpoint - unless some major new addition is made to the character data that would necessitate such. -

When there are official, reliable, stable servers that don't go down every 10 minutes, lag, roll me back to dangerous positions separated from my team, etc., etc. then we can do something about server hopping. Until then I have to "hop" just to play most days.

As if there are no players in between these and people like you who probably die in Cherno 8 minutes after spawning. No. Nor would they bother repairing too many vehicles, gathering tents, attempting to play in large, organized groups, etc., etc. In other words the game would suck. What a silly idea. Is this common practice? You advertise your server here on the forums as being a good, stable and solid home for players. Then tonight I'm in the thick of it in the middle of 50 zombies and I see ' is killed'. I even made a joke in Side Chat like "Uh oh, don't make the owner angry" but I never actually expected what happened... immediate SESSION LOST. Come on, guys. Obvious abuse and not the kind of behavior that makes me want to make a new home on your server. :@ Maybe a coincidence. I hope. Please?

Did the security breach affect servers directly?

I have noticed odd behavior upon server restart than sometimes vehicles (and tents) do not immediately reappear or spawn. I would strongly suggest you return to the location of your vehicle and check again. I thought I had lost my off-road truck and two tents full of gear and I almost killed myself in the ensuing depression but instead decided to return to the site and check one last time. Lo-and-behold everything was there, intact and fully stocked. So, yeah. Double check before you make any rash decisions or judgements. -
The only thing going down in flames is this fucking forum with ridiculous, asinine, pointless, vacuous, vapid, meaningless, empty, naive posts like this. The game has more players in Alpha than many at release. It's not even half complete and you're talking about a downfall? Take a break. Go read a book or plant a garden or lose a few pounds. Come back when the game is actually a game and your asinine rantings might make a tiny iota of fucking sense.

Really? 'cause I had 8 folks in my Offroad last night and none of them shot me "on sight." Bandit skins were a forced, lazy, stupid broken mechanic that didn't accomplish anything and anyone who misses them is playing the wrong game and I'm so fucking sick and tired of talking about it it's not even funny. Someone tries to steal from my tent, I shoot them - Bandit. Someone tries to steal my truck, I shoot them - Bandit. Someone shoots at me but misses, I shoot them - Bandit. I encounter someone who has wronged me in the past, but their humanity has reset, I shoot them - Bandit. Meanwhile survivors with makarovs are way more dangerous than anyone with a bandit skin ever was. Bandit skin never worked. It never accomplished anything. It made you FEEL safer, but it didn't actually make you safer. It was dumb and if you want it back you are dumb. Go play a dumb game with your dumb friends.
