* FR11 * July 9, 2012, 01:28am PDT * A friend and I were on FR11 last night, we had just left the NW airfield and were north of Grishino in the fields. We decided to have a little survival-test and fired off our LMGs to attract a small horde from the town. When they arrived, we began firing but suddenly both our weapons disappeared from our hands. When we viewed our inventory, everything was gone. My friend suggested hacker, so I logged out quickly, hoping to save whatever was left. My friend said that he saw items from his inventory being removed one at a time. When I logged back in, everything in my active inventory (except for tools) was gone. My backpack was still on, and everything in my backpack was still there (thankfully I keep a 2nd primary weapon in my bag). When I first logged out of that server, I took a screenshot of the player list: http://i.imgur.com/9GG37.png My friend's name is .50 Caliber Terror and mine is Keziah. FNRS Tonki_Ton, Moo_moo01 and Nivern had been on the server consistently for over an hour. blain and Tappey were recent joins. About two hours earlier, we saw Tappey trying to log into the server but the server was reporting his file versions were bad and reporting the following path: "D:\ARMA2CRACKED\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta" and listing several pbo files. Considering this, we think it's likely Tappey was exploiting.

We then got aggro from some zombies and hunkered down in the barracks tents but they were running through walls. This video is taken from Vantech's perspective - from my perspective, zombies were running in circles clipping through the tent walls. Afterward, Erb and Vantech died and I finished off the zombies but couldn't loot the bodies of the dead (I would click to move an item into my inventory or bag and the item wouldn't move at all.)

I just had a similar problem. What happened: Logged in, choose female - play. Logged out, reloaded on another server, still female. Logged out, loaded a third server, suddenly male again. Where you were: The last hangar of the six at the NW airport (northernmost hangar in the line of six on the NE side). In any of these other cases, did you guys loot a lag-ghost? Someone who had disconnected, or perhaps appeared to just be "standing there", as in our case? We came across someone just standing in a barn and looted some items off of him. I'm wondering if there might be some protection mechanism to prevent item duplication (which could be exploited through lag ghosts) that caused this.

This happened to myself and my friends. We were on US12, then a few in-between servers seeking a good one, then NY9. First, we logged in around 8PM PDT last night on the same server we'd been playing on. 3 of us were unable to move at all. Relogging, settings checks, nothing seemed to fix it. I was the only one able to move, so I drank my water and we went looking for another server. As we looked for another server where we were able to move I noticed the water I had drunk had not been stored on the previous server. My water bottle still had water in it and my hydration was at 0. This happened 3 times while seeking a new server. Finally, we found one where people could move, but now my water bottle was empty and my hydration at 0. One of my friends gave me a soda and we began scavenging. We raided a supermarket and got some serious upgrades and then my game crashed. When I logged back in, it had returned me to the place that we logged in at and all of my scavenged gear was gone. I returned to my party and we scavenged what we could off of my lag-ghost. We stopped short of killing my lag ghost to try to loot the Czech backpack I had scavenged in the supermarket - because there were a dozen or so zombies nearby and we were low on ammo now that it had all been lost. Then another friend crashed and lost all of his gear and a lot of the gear he scavenged off my lag ghost. After that, we called it a night.
