This is what im scared off. If someone steals my medical helicopter i can at least rest knowing some use is being put to it if someone who knows how to fly is stealing it, not someone who cant :/

I've been playing Dayz since there was 10 servers, and i love Dayz i love the fact it's hard, but with a standalone release i'm worried it might slip, although i doubt this is the case these are my suggestions: Ammo becomes rarer: Ammo is to common IMO, people dont need to think about when to shoot or when to sneak, they just shoot. I would like to see all sorts of ammo become harder to find, not just high end ammo but makarov ammo, so im running round with 2 clips and scared to shoot. Matches run out: Once you got all your survival gear, no need to really go to a town, i want matches to run out, maybe 10 uses? i know thats an unrealistic use number but in game reality, who is gonna light 50 fires? i think we should have it a low number to make people frett. More advanced loot, Batteries needed: I love NvG's, L85, etc but i hate how easy they are, just run all night, every night without a care for the gear? people server hop to night servers just to use the NvG's? i want different types of batteries for different pieces of gear, the better the gear, the rarer the battery's, but i would also like to see car batteries, and more high end loot to spawn in the standalone. Knives need sharpening: i think the hunting knife should need to be sharpened to allow you to cut more meat from the animal? but have a set limit of 8 as it is now? maybe you need to pick up a stone or have a certain pice of kit? Sleeping bags: I think you should need sleeping bags to log off in, you should have to carry it with you and it takes up space, if you log out in the wilderness you should need to curl up in otherwise you will get a cold or hypathermia etc, so people with bases out in the wilderness can't have it so easy, and people who don't have a sleeping bag must log off in a house? More infections, more cures: As a medic, i find it easy to carry the right gear, simple. 3 morphine, 3 bloodbags, 1 epi pen & maybe one antibiotic. I want to have to gather tons of supplies the and use the correct drug on the right infection! ACE medic system: if someone has a broken leg, but not passed out, i should be able to carry him, i should have the whole interaction system, maybe build a stretcher to carry them, and basically have a more realistic medical system Car's are more common, working parts and Petrol are not: I'm sure not everyone in Russia is as bad at driving as this game suggests, i think more cars should be avliable however finding parts should not, i think you should be able to take parts out of a car already there but there is risk that its not in perfect condition, maybe have it that even spawned parts are not perfect? You should also be able to syphon fuel out of other cars as well and make petrol a lot harder, maybe only so much spawns a day, or week even? the map bigger, more places to hide: i feel that once you have a heli, hiding it is a problem, the map is to well known and finding a sutble location is hard (we dont place off map like pussy's) however it is descovered to soon due to raiders etc, this is fine as its part of the game but i feel the current endgame should be easier to keep. sort out server admins: this is not such a suggestion as a slight rant, server admins keep screwing us over & i would like less power given to them as the ones i see actually hunt, and horde our cars and others, if one gets nicked the server restarts and suddenly a squad is there ready to recapture there beloved 13th vehcile.....not only that but my overwatch see's a camper in elektro, shoots him, he Alt F4's and suddenly my overwatch is kicked by an admin, no reason given. Any more suggestions to make the game hardeR? please suggest!

Simply because i trusted you but not entirely, so if it went tits up and you were sitting down you would have died so facing away means you can return fire to any attackers but for the most part i'm safe :P

I once ran to the aid of a blown vehcile, i ran over the hill and recived SD fire, as soon as i said i was a medic you know what, they ceased fire! they apologised and bandaged me!

EVERY person say's dew is cursed, it's not i tell you! and this is why: The server im on is hacked, everyone teleports to the church and dies, i lose amazing things, HOWEVER i had no lucky dew, i repsawn and go through cherno thinking "ah well the hackers on but what i got to lose" i find a can of dew in the first building, while everyone is still being teleported and dying, im looting a player free cherno! i then walk to elektro and find that to is empty as the hacker and players all left and i loot! I then get a message out the blue asking if i would like a ride up north to my base, they had no idea i had died O_0 i go to the meet point and get in the car with survival gear and a gun, but more importantly my dew. So i arrive at base and go to an emergency medical station and restock on high end gear, as im waiting for a patient to give a shout out i get a call in TS, but its not a patient it's someone gifting me a helicopter, a real, working, non fucked up server based helicopter O_0 i been playing 5 months and this was the first time i get a heli thats mine, hell i didnt even need one! whats spokey was i was telling another medic how i longed for a helicopter to fly in Dayz, i guess the Dew answered my prayers

Your own personal choice, i'm friendly and i die a LOT, however i find player interaction in this game (when it happenes) one of the most thrilling and exciting aspect i have ever seen in a video game and im hooked on it, flying round and being shot at is crap but that one time we see a smoke grenenade and its not my team, we fly low and rescue a poor survivor to talk in vehilce chat, makes it so fun. Sure you can start shooting on sight mate, you will live longer for sure, no doubt but then no one will ever experience what im talking about as it will get futher and futher away from what i remember and just become a TD, but it's up to you risk it and maybe make friends or don't and get the best lootz, what ever your choice mate =)

i would not like to add keys tho, that makes it to easy as your vecile is practically safe, the sleeping bag idea is simply to stop your game temperature dropping when not in game, i just feel this world add another depth to the game :/

Choppers arent all bust, we been flying ours round for a week, not once did it go back to the island, it all depends on the servers it's on guys ^_^

same, 48K humanity, but every time i log in and get in game the moniter resets, it stays the same in the hive and goes up however the in game moniter resets

Some hackers are nice, not always but we were on a server spent 6 hours fixing a damn heli and the server is so broke were half way flying to a patient when the server goes down and the heli spawns back at its spawn, a hacker finds out and instead of ruining us, he teleports there gets the choppers use something to find us all picks up my squad and helps us rescue the patient before we abandon that bust server, but then again there are the dick scripters

To Medic's and players - Please Read This is a call out to any medic's and players that want to join a medical team that works to help others, there are risk's involved of course as i strictly deny the use of KoS, unless a situation such as the heli has been shot down and we are doing emergency repairs. We will work to help others, always communicate with other players if possible instead of shooting and heal patients, we do NOT kill for better lootz, instead i will organise Trades or tent raid for what we need (as i know locations of hacker tents, and of course they hacked all those good items to donate to the medical team, did they not?) If you are intersted in joining you must understand the basic rules: We do Not Kill on Sight. We may return fire however (duh!) We do Not kill for better gear. We help anyone we can withen reason, we are medic's on the forums we will act like such in game. You follow my orders, however this is not a dictatorship and suggestions hints or just basically saying how we can do things better is greatly appreciated (however not during heated moments, such as combat) Only i fly, unless i state otherwise. So here is a list of what has killed us today, It's quiet a good list today: ROCKS: We landed at drakon island (with amazing skill if i do say so myself B)) but couldnt have done it without my spotters, anyway we get out and someone goes to have a scout, he glitches and falls stomach fist on a sharp pointy rock that spilits his stomach open and he is dead quickly, weird thing was he shoudlnt have slipped down ahill to land on a rock RABBITS: We were sending out a scout and a rabbit, [he must have been very big] jumps in the way! the cyclist swerves to avoid the poor creature but the rabbit leaps foreward baring its vicious teeth! in one foul swoop the Rabbit has started attacking the pooor cyclist! he's on the floor screaming as the rabbit mercilessly eats his flesh until his bones are showing and his blood is everywhere and only when there is no hope does he hop away shoping his litttle fluffy bum as a victory sign. HULK STYLE ZED : We had a moter bike scouting out for parts for the heli, as he's driving through zelenogorsk when SUDDENLY a Zed swoops down and knocks the bike! the bike goes hurling forewards out control from this superman Zed while my poor scout is sent flying into the sky! he see's the sky! he see's the light! but he plumit's..down, down to the cold unforgiving road and dies. And last But not least! A LIGHT BULB! Yes thats right, A Light bulb from real life, killed us. Let me explain: I am the squads pilot, as we are flying with everyone finally picked up and the chopper repaird froma douche that couldn't really fly and failed at stealing it. We are flying to restock at bere when a light bulb, in my kitchen blows. The fuse box has a panic and turns off all the electronic's in the house. the computer shuts down instantly aas well as the router. poor guys never saw it coming and we immediatly kiss the ground. Everyone fully geared suddenly is dead. Luckly im alive but sad they did not make it

Due to hackers, connection issue's etc we are still trying to repair a helicopter to help players, by tommorrow if some A**hole doesnt steal it and crash it realising he cant actually fly we should be ready to heal by tomorrow
