I'm trying to start arma through steam with the beta patch and yes im useing -mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion in my target line and ive also tried launching it directly but every time it gives me a DirectX9 3D creation error.... i have a GTX460... why the fuck is DX9 even an issue?

Rocket, honestly I love you and everything you have done for the gaming community. Today I blasted away god knows how many hours on DayZ. I thought id show some appreciation unlike the assholes who are trying to make you look like the bad guy here, Because you KNOW that they waste entire days playing the mod and still have the balls to try and call you out. My only advice would be to continue on with the project and just fuck everyone else, keep whoever you know is loyal to you at you're side and fuck everyone . This is one of those times where listening to the community and there stupid shit would be at the bottom of you're "to do" list. Honestly, this is where you see how low the people around you really are... Rocket, I really don't think you should waste your time arguing with the fucking twats on this forum, Its almost like at every corner there's another halfwit claiming they know more about EULA's and Game deving than you do... Thats exactly why there not on there OWN fourm's for THERE OWN amazing fucking mod... Honestly your way too good for the assholes here, don't waste time or brainpower trying to make scene to these shitheads. Just get on with using you're god given gift to deliver this kickass fucking amazing mod, and put smiles on the children's faces... and fear in there hearts. Ps. I really like the thought of this, Although I want the Kevlar to act like real Kevlar. At a distance it would stop a low caliber round but maybe knock you unconscious or put you In major pain (OR BOTH). And armor could/should be pierced with different types of ammo, rounds, calibers ect. And it should wear and tear, after a few good shots or a ton of zombie hits (there only claws/fists) it should become un usable. Along with this there should be different levels of vests Kevlar,flack,dragon skin (not legit dragons -_-) Another cool feature would be if vests/armor would reduce the % chance of bleeding when hit by a Zed Idk, I'm just dumping ideas out there

DayZ needs this! There wasn't a thing here that I didn't like. Only problem is that I don't see these things being implemented until they can get there servers in order, there's so many information leaks and problems with keeping things in order that it would be a while before they got things in stable form. But on all levels, this is completely possible, the game already has an "commander" mode where you get an interface where you place buildings, Ect. So I don't see why this couldn't be implemented in the future seeing that this is perfectly within the games base features

Hey jsut a few hours ago, Me and a few buddies tried logging in again. Originally i had an Mp5 with 4 clips of ammo and a few other supplies. this morning i logged on with NOTHING, no ammo in my makarov and 1 blood... on the other side of the map. Has anyone else experienced this crap?

AS of today? and if it was fixed why is it still happening to me? I'm logged right now respawning over & over and it wont come back normal. Is there a way to fix this from my side?

yeah but it needs to be brought up again, because the last time it went ignored it effected a mass number of people. How can you effectively test a game when EVERY TIME YOU RESWPAWN you have no blood or ammo? Enlighten me please, id love to know.
