    Hey man, I bought the game a few months ago and still LOVE it. If you don't already know this, DayZ is pretty huge as a mod right now and therefore an official standalone full game is going to come out later this year. You need Arma 2 combined which cost around 20 dollars i believe. So either you buy that now or you wait until the full game. 1. Combined. watch a tutorial on youtube to know how to install everything 2. Steam is excellent 3.you can switch at ANY time between first and third person. right now third is slightly better because of a few bugs 4. when you die, you are automatically logged out of the server and lose everything you have and must restart the server to log back in just like the first time you started. 5. Yep its online. Have fun. The full game wont be more than 25 dollars or so.
