You do realize that 99% of those "free" hacks on YouTube are not hacks but cd-key stealers? ;) Also, maybe ask some private hack users how much they like BE compared to VAC? Wrong, BE detects most of the hacks on its own (see that number in my signature? - I will let you figure out what it stands for). The additional features for admins are only a bonus. -

From what I know that's not how it works anymore. Obviously the new architecture will continue to be improved and all remaining holes be closed over time (alpha, you know ;)). And no, it's not unreliable. The game's own scripting language has been proven to work for a long time. Time to ditch C++ because that one is over 30 years old? :P Uh, that's not how it works anymore. Go check some hack forums, it works quite well right now.

Not really, there is no easy way to do this as the game could be and is changing its own data (that hacks manipulate) at any time.

Because there is nothing wrong with scripts if the engine is properly locked down? Here we go, another funny myth (I won't even comment on the part about cd-keys, see my previous post). Like BE VAC can only ban for hacks it knows about, so there is no difference when it comes to the detection of "WPM" hacks (in case you are confused, no, you can't just detect all such hacks by default).

BE bans are equally effective or even more effective as VAC bans, because not only will your Steam account be banned (no more cd-keys) from one game but from all other Steam games BE is used on (like Arma 3) as well. And honestly, most cheaters won't care about being publicly flagged as VAC-banned because they use separate accounts for cheating anyway. No, you stop accusing him of lying when you know nothing! VAC IS indeed enabled in the game's Steamworks integration code. It could be loaded at any time.

Hi, are you the same person who got globally banned for using one of those "undetected" private hacks just recently? I see your name in the logs... You never heard of silent detection, right? Because that's obviously what an anti-cheat can fix. To go back to what you initially said, yes, you indeed know a lot about BE!

Thanks for this. If someone says he got banned "for no reason" he either 1) got his cd-key stolen by something he downloaded from an untrusted source or 2) is lying. It's that simple. Anyway, the vast majority of people that contact me are indeed theft victims and of course many then blame BE for their own mistakes. As you can see when reading those comments, taking responsibility for your own property (cd-key) and your own actions is not very popular nowadays. Instead many victims (who sadly don't even realize they are victims) choose to go on the internet and post nonsense about BE ruining its reputation - because if hundreds of people are repeating the same lie it automatically becomes truth. :thumbsup: -

Unfortunately this problem cannot be solved in A2/OA, which is incredibly frustrating for me as well. However, Steam integration in ArmA 3 and DayZ will finally stop these scamming schemes (via account binding and no more cd-keys) and so global bans will actually be effective. Note that hardware (including MAC) bans wouldn't change anything either, as 99% of all cheaters these days use private hacks that would bypass such a feature immediately.

Are you using the GameTracker Lite Client (according to your signature that could very well be the case)? If so, please disable it while playing. When investigating with another user I found that this program causes this very error. -
The issue should be fixed in BE Client v1.195. Please let me know if you still have problems.

It might be related to some hidden malware that caused problems with the latest BE Client changes, but I'm not sure yet. I'm willing to investigate the cause of this error via TeamViewer, so feel free to PM me if you have this problem and want to help me there. -
Does it detect/block the BEClient.dll (or BEService.exe) in some way? If so, please put it on your exception list.

No, we didn't. We told him to contact BI support who gave him a new cd-key because his old one was stolen (otherwise he wouldn't have received one). His ban was never lifted because it was valid. Anyway, Molochius, please wait for a response. You are probably another one of the thousands of cd-key theft victims.
