Yes, I know. As I said above, this was quickly fixed. Do you still have problems?
-
That was happening with BE Client v1.213 which was quickly reverted. At the moment there shouldn't be any BE-related crashes. If you still experience one please let me know.
-
I'm not sure why you think so, he didn't mention BE anywhere? I am not aware of this currently "very common" problem either. Could you please send me your crash report/log? I'm not sure why you expect issues to be magically fixed if no one (including yourself) reports them? Thanks in advance!

Do you get these lags constantly or only every few seconds or so? -

I know that there is an issue, still I would like to know your client-side system specifications. Also, could you check if it's better now? -

Could you post your system specifications (hardware, etc.)? -
Thanks, this should be fixed now. Could you please confirm?
-
Could you please send me the last 20 lines of your .RPT file right after the crash?
-
FYI, I identified a BE-related issue that might have caused crashes for certain people. An attempted fix is now live. Please confirm if the crashing has stopped for you. Thanks!

I know. ;) If this thread is hijacked I'm sure the offending posts can be removed?

I'm not sure what you mean, I regularly post here?

DayZ keeps crashing when I try to join a server?
$able replied to Paule2934's topic in Troubleshooting
May I ask what version is shown for you in the "BattlEye Client: Initialized (v1.xxx)" message when joining a server? -
There indeed was a temporary issue right after the update, but that was quickly resolved.
-
Are you 100% sure you didn't crash before the BE update? I read that certain people have problems since the last maintenance (March 5), which is completely unrelated to BE.

Battleye initialisation failed - DayZ Standalone
$able replied to tilwhatever's topic in Troubleshooting
Just disabling it is bad and doesn't actually fully disable it in most cases. Please try to completely uninstall it (temporarily). -

Do you have some sort of security software (anti-virus, etc.) that might be blocking access to the BEClient.dll? -
Update (16/1): Player Proximity DeSync Issue (Solutions/Workarounds!)
$able replied to scottishrebel's topic in Troubleshooting
At this point (after the BE Client update a few days ago) it's definitely not related to BE in any way. Everything that could be optimized on BE's side (relating to the desync issue) has been optimized. The core problem is the game's high bandwidth usage when being close to other players. -
Battleye Client: Update successfully completed. Restarting...
$able replied to Ramblin Hans's topic in Troubleshooting
Something is obviously wrong with your file permissions. Please go to "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\DayZ" and delete the BE folder there. -

Was it generally better than before the BE update? Thanks for the feedback so far. I'd appreciate if more people could post their current experiences.
