I agree, the console game wouldn't be able to compare to PC. Hence why I wouldn't be playing it, hence why it doesn't really bother me if it does get ported. For the game and it's developers... -

It would be hard to find the level of roleplay in SA as in Frankie's latest video for example. If that is what you're looking for then the mod is what you should be playing. And Hetstaine plays the role of a broke schoolgirl trying to pay her way through college pretty well in fact.

With the game being in its early stages I'd say you have lost character data. I think you might just have to start over. -
It makes sense. I couldn't diagnose injury and know what medical treatment to administer irl without proper training or experiments. Could a civ pick up a box of rounds and immediately know which weapons are capable of using them? Not everything irl comes with a detailed manual, I imagine more so when you loot it from abondoned buildings in an apocalyptic scenario.

OP states that the subdued player can be freed by another player, not break out themselves. That's what the quote with the large bold text is trying to point out.

You can use keys or break out of handcuffs by yourself. So no.

I think South coast spawns were removed due to the clusterfuck at Balota.

Being able to restrain a player that then needs another player to free them. Might be an issue once everyone has been tied up.

I wouldn't worry about that. -
There is a lot more work involved in running and maintaining an epoch server compared to vanilla. The availability of purchasable vehicles insures your constantly cleaning up your db of surplus vehicles which if left unchecked will eventually clog up your server. Depending on your player base you may find yourself reimbursing gear lost due to the all-too-familiar bugs of the mod.

Just below Black Lake, SE of the NEAF. There is a lot of nice hiding spots amongst the rocks in the area. Another good spot on the Chernarus map I've found to be rarely visited, Kumyrna. -

No no no. I wouldn't take one person's advice before overlooking this mod. It's obviously the most popular of dayz mods atm for a reason. I think it depends greatly on the server you play on. If you can find a local, well populated, PvP orientated server, you're sure to have fun!
