    DayZ 1.8 Feedback

Hate the new icons, they look like they were made for a children's game. There are adults playing this game, previous icons were better. My FPS have dropped, a lot. Went from averaging 45 to averaging 30. Before they never dropped below 30, now they often drop to the low 20's. I have a fairly good video card, 680mx, drivers updated. I'm running Windows 7. CPU - i7. Too much food and drink spawning. The new inventory is fine, but the zipper sound, why?
  2. The problem that I run into is the "unarmed" soon become armed. So because I'm a bandit, i'm a target. I have not killed players because they weren't armed, only to have them find a gun, come back and kill me. So if i'm in a city or building, and bump into an unarmed player, he's toast. When i'm sniping, I generally don't kill fresh spawns because I will alert others of my presence and possibly miss out on the opportunity to kill someone more interesting, or give away my location to the more dangerous players. But I must admit, when i'm on a hill or building sniping, it's damn funny watching a newbie run around trying to figure out where the shot is coming from.
  3. Public US server 229, I joined the game and started on the coast with no gear, just as though I had been killed. Initially I thought I had been killed while logging in however a few other people on side chat complained of the same thing happening to them. Lost good gear. This is not a private hive, it is a public server. The server administrator suggested I see if there was a DB issue. This happened June 21st around 430 pm pacific time.

    Build 1.7.3 Rolling Update

I think losing the Debug is a mistake. The blood icon's color variation is too subtle to differentiate between 10,000 and 11,000 and 12,000. It's nice to know what your exact level is. Also, it's nice to know how many zombies you've killed without having to log out to see that number. I hope you reconsider the decision to remove it. Thanks.
