Your blood won't regenerate in 10 minutes... in real life it takes up to 24 to 48 to regenerate your plasma & up to a month to regenerate red blood cells. <_< (And yes, it's bugged.)

In real life, your red cells would regenerate in about 4 to 6 weeks & your plasma between 24 to 48 hours, so after you are victim of a high blood loss, getting a Blood Transfusion Intravenous as soon as possible is the best thing to do, counting on natural regeneration may kill you even if you eat a lot / keep yourself hydrated... I hope they'll make a realistic blood system / medical system in DayZ in the next updates. :)

I feel you. I was geared up to the teeth (M4 couple mags, Pistol, Ballistic Helmet, Assault Vest, Pistol, camo clothings & medical supplies) and I lost everything. :( But yeah, gotta move on and start over, nothing ya' can do about it.
