im pretty sure the stock standard zeroing for all rifles is 400

with the latest update i find myself crawling everywhere to avoid zeds

get a reliable rifle (AKM/Lee Enfield) go on a high pop server. run to NWAF kill an as50 sniper

if the first time you launched the game was with dayz commander, it doesn't allow you to delete the expansion,

i had this problem. heres what to do: Uninstall Dayz Delete Everything Dayz Related. install the beta patch again vwolah

the oil rigs are possible to land on and can get you some good end game gear without the hastle of zombies. if lootcycling is your thing, thats the place to go

the idea of the game is risk driven. Living off the land and camping in the woods sounds like it would kill the reason to go to stary shops and therefore not needing a gun. so not having to go to military tent/barracks, so, in htat regaurd, i don't see it happening. on the off hand, the community feature sounds interesting.

providing theres an easy way to get to the main land.

no, defeats the purpose, dayz is survivalistic, you could host your own from your network, no one will be able to play on it but, you wont have gear on public or private hive if you find it.
