if the first time you launched the game was with dayz commander, it doesn't allow you to delete the expansion,

i had this problem. heres what to do: Uninstall Dayz Delete Everything Dayz Related. install the beta patch again vwolah

the oil rigs are possible to land on and can get you some good end game gear without the hastle of zombies. if lootcycling is your thing, thats the place to go

the idea of the game is risk driven. Living off the land and camping in the woods sounds like it would kill the reason to go to stary shops and therefore not needing a gun. so not having to go to military tent/barracks, so, in htat regaurd, i don't see it happening. on the off hand, the community feature sounds interesting.

no, defeats the purpose, dayz is survivalistic, you could host your own from your network, no one will be able to play on it but, you wont have gear on public or private hive if you find it.

So, after looting stary, finding a dmr, nightvision, coyote and ghiliie, i grabbed the rec car that spawns there and drove to the coast. I was looking for a random newspawn to bloodbag me, I found someone calle castiel who was a full geared hero. he jumped in the back and tagged along, bloodbagged me etc. As we are driving off I hear a faint voce in sidechat "Can I have a lift" usually i would tell them to drop there gun etc, but the guy only had a makrov. We drove to kameshovo docks to refuel (zambies cant get you there) As my buddy castiel is alt tabbed and im marking the nwaf on the map The makrov man shoots me in the head, turns and killed my friend. Stole the car, gear and drove off. So, luck me I spawn in electro, find castiel again and grabbed a good old lee. I sat on the firestation roof and waited, waited and waited. Until i say the guy in his car at around 300m. I line up my shot. wait for my gun to stead and, BANG. I broke the windscreen, line my second shot off and pinged him in the head. only for him to alt f4 and body sink into the ground. all that was left was a mountain dew in the boot.
