What a lot of people might not realise is that those maps are pretty expensive to make, Chernarus took a team of 4-6 people 2 years to make.

Lol, this guy. I think overall Bohemia did a pretty bloody good job on the game though. If you are after a more "realistic" experience, try ACE and ACRE mods. I like using the NZDF mod also, but only because I really like using the Steyr AUG. But I digress, I have gotten way off topic...

It's the Supply and Logistics mod that a lot of other mods use, rather handy, but alas, stand alone material/when the mod community gets free reign on the DayZ mod.

I actually prefer it the way it is, I say complicate it further. Let me explain. Rocket said that he doesn't want skill trees blah blah blah but rather people to able to use their own real world skills. Your average DayZ player at first probably had know idea there was a difference between the AKS and the AKM and probably at some point or another got annoyed "I have an AK, why isn't it taking ALL AK mags" This is just as much a real world skill as being able to navigate using the stars. And I hope they make flying a lot harder too, I mean, I feel it puts me at a huge advantage but even without this prior knowledge I would still prefer it this way. In my eyes I think it would be cool if you had to go to a little extra effort outside of the game to familiarise yourself with the weapons you want to use i.e. get to know what mags your weapon will or will not take, and what rounds you can load into the mags you have. I know this is only possible for the SA as the weapons will be able to be their own objects, as will magazines and loose rounds.

Yeah you are more or less right. Depends on your ISP though man, mine for example hosts the Steam catalogue on their own content servers so when I download games I just use that and it doesn't affect my data usage.

I dunno if it's just me but the UH-1H is a bloody dream to fly. Guns or not it is probably my favourite chopper to fly in Arma 2.
