Yeah they are always full but there are plenty of Yank servers to play on and to be honest, 200 ping in this game isn't that big of a deal. I can still easily get kills with that latency as it's more about seeing them first, not lighting fast reactions (assuming this is your concern with ping). Even with CoD4 servers I have to put up with 200+ ping and I still do well. But I do understand, I would like to be able to play on an NZ server but they are always full.

I would suggest having a play with vanilla Arma 2 first, maybe do some missions or at the very least do the boot camp. It is ESSENTIAL to master basic movement and shooting in this. Also have a look in the Survivor HQ sub forum to team up with other players, there is a good chance they will have more experience and be willing to to help you.

Yeah I've found living in the woods up north, drinking pond water and eating cattle has given me a good run. It's all about how you play, I'm quite cautious (see paranoid) and I'm about maybe 30 days now?

Okay, I agree with you on the whole there needs to be a fix to players disco-ing all the time. But I just watched this. Now, with the log out timer, it means that every single person on that server will die. Personally, I think it is more of an issue to sort out all of the hackers and skiddies that are pulling this shit first. But that's not Rocket or the Dev teams fault, that's a Battleye issue.

Any chance of you putting up some in game screens of the base/checkpoint thing you guys made? I hate to say it, but, duping has really made this mod less enjoyable for those of us who don't, and while I can see why it was necessary for you to dupe the fortifications, I still hate the fact that you did. But I guess it's somewhat the mechanics fault for it being able to be done. Moral standpoint aside, I just really don't see how you could of done it otherwise. And I have been waiting for someone to try this for a few months now, also I'm glad to hear it went relatively well. I hope you don't receive a ban for this because at least you were using duping for "good" more or less, and not personal gain, assuming of course, that you did not.

Haha. I fucking hate hoppers from dying to one. This is brilliant. Watched a vid a few weeks back of some guys that put a satchel charge in the barracks and blew up the place when a hopper came in, sweet sweet justice. Keep it up guys.

I was running 93965 and then updated to 94364, couldn't connect to servers and then got wrong cd key error, had to re-install Op Arrowhead, which fucking sucked. Back to 93965 now, haven't had any problems. Not sure if this was a client side problem or not, I'd just do a little research on it first. On the other hand plenty of people are using 94364 without any issues. So yeah, I haven't really given you any sort of answer.

Still haven't used the hatchet as a weapon yet, looks like fun, and I have seen some great hatchet betrayals on the youtubes. Personally I would get an assault rifle but that's just me.
