I like the you are dead screen as well. Really shocked me when my first serious char died...i was like noooooooooo and just stared at it for about a minute. Stats screen is not a horrible idea, it just needs some revision :) Obviously you should not find out any info about the guy who killed you.

I have thought the same about the notes. Of course some people will use them as a serious dayZ type role playing story while others will use them to set traps or in the context or a riddle type quest , then there will be just plain childishness, which will be a good reason to hunt them down if all notes are 'tagged' to a character ala your hide/ show face topic.

Bayonets, bayonets with an unscrewable handle with a mini bayonet and strong string inside. Sturgeon fishing with retrivable shootable through a crossbow bayonets.There's your end game, everything else is just pure gravy on the sturgeon.

Why dont you just blow my mind. Are you saying, if i am reading this correctly , that i tape my bayonet to the bolt with Seans strong string attached to it so in effect i have a retrievable shootable bayonet ?? Dude..insane ! i would easily catch the biggest sturgeon in all of Chernarus ! The only item i would need for my fishing trip besides this then would be polarised nvg's so i could see into the water and pick out the correct Sturgeon, there are many Sturgeon but there is always one that swims lower than the rest ..the bottom dwelling Sturgeon. Has anyone mentioned polarised nvg's for fishing yet ? You could easily tape the mini bayonet to them for headbutts as well.

If you wanted to climb i suppose you could ? would baldes hold you up ? Bayonets probbly would be better i think. I would only climb if i needed to get access to a waterway, say a tree over a river so i could fish for Sturgeon. If i needed to then i would use bayonets to get me past the steepest points of the tree, like stab it in the limb and then maybe use string slung around the handle to rapell down, so then the bayonet becomes like an anchor point. If the bayonet had a good sized handle then the rope would fit inside near the mini bayonet... like the same string that sean connery used in The Rock to dangle that guy off the building by only his wrist. Thats strong string, and i believe even Sturgeon would struggle to snap it.

Well what about if you could cover yourself in steak and stand or crouch in a corner, when the zombies comes to eat the meat then you simply move the steak off your face so you can see or just use an eye fillet. Once you can see them through the fillet just pop bayonets out of your shoe and start kicking. You could use your mini bayonet as backup if your feet get stuck in the zombies bones or gristle.or tendons.Bayonets could spawn in the firdge near the butter.
