Wow, that's not a bad idea. Of course the water wouldn't be clean, and you wouldn't get very much from it, but if you were dying of thirst this feature would be great.

What do you mean? If you find a sign that says "Электрозаводск" you can spell it out from the letters. Before you know it you'll be able to remember all (or at least most, which is enough) of the letters without even needing to peek. Any new places on signs you can easily spell out and look on the map for the latin alphabet counterpart, it sounds exactly the same. I know what you're saying about it being inconsistent, but if the map AND signs were in Russian, you'd never know how to say it properly. Imagine asking someone if they've been to "Kpass-ho-stab" recently or something. They'd have no idea what you're talking about. Ok, so maybe put the signs in English as well? But then that kinda breaks the immersion, probably more than the map. I would just imagine the map is for tourists who don't care how it's spelled but care about asking for directions. It would be much easier to have both as online maps do, but I think it's 'lazy', like cheating a puzzle. For me it was a nice little extra, it added to the immersion of being lost.

It's not that hard to figure out the signs, just study this for awhile

It doesn't mean it's a good idea to add all the obscure, rare and ancient weapons we can think of.
-
You could do this in the mod IIRC, it's probably coming to SA soon.
-
How did you know the guy was gonna kill you? Back on topic, it's a good idea to feign death. I don't think it would work well if someone is shooting at you (I double/triple tap if I can spare the ammo), but if you know someone is coming it could work.

Why don't the hosting companies just ignore the reports for now? Surely they know what's going on, it would make sense to me.

Mobile internet is hard to predict, the best you can do is check reviews and cross your fingers.
-
Sounds reasonable enough, more towards the KoS style though if you could let armed people go but you shoot them anyway. But at least you aren't killing unarmed people, and I hope if someone with a gun tried to communicate and be peaceful you would do the same. There's more than just KoS and banditry btw, imo you're an average bandit.

The downside to static names is you can't start out fresh if you get a reputation, good or bad. You'd have to change servers and hope you don't run into anyone who knew you before if you want to start over from scratch and try something new. It would stop people constantly changing their name so they can keep hoodwinking the same people, but if you make it that easy to be taken a fool you're doing something wrong.

It has been suggested before. Probably a better idea, no need to store so many screenshots

I doubt anyone would use them in fear of being sniper bait. That or someone would cut the power when they're halfway there so they are stuck (unless it just slowly descends to the platform).

Pretty small post for.. nothing. He's sharing his experiences, maybe you should do the same instead of just shitposting, and have you know, a discussion. I've heard similar things about SA, but it could just be bad luck. Things like that happened to me in the mod, I know those feels, but usually it was just coincidence it was happening so often. Hopefully you're wrong about it getting worse, but unless something big happens I'm worried about the longevity of the SA. Even though it's an alpha, if this stuff becomes commonplace, it will just leave a bad taste in everyone's mouths which won't help in the long run. He said last three lives though

If the bandit skins are still in the standalone I'm going to be pissed.

It fixes KoS how? People with PvP on can still KoS each other, so every non-pansay is still at risk.

BEST anti-hack ever! Developers PLEASE read!

It probably sounds like a good idea but there's probably a list of drawbacks, excluding the constant downloading of updates. Assuming it's even possible, which I doubt. -
Cheats need to be identified before they will trigger bans, because of this there's always periods of time where cheaters can use new cheats without getting banned. That particular cheater will probably be banned soon and that cheat will be useless. Then another one will be coded and it continues.

This, there's plenty of great ideas put up (like this one), but if it's gonna be shitty/weird then there's no point. OT they should be able to hurt you too, I mean if you pop out from around a corner and sprint right up to it it will kick you and run off

Steam has an offline mode, though

KoS the KoSers to fix KoS by quickdrawing them and they hopefully won't kill you first

PSA: If you put "No KoS" in the title of your server, I'm going to favorite it and stop in every day to kill at least one person

Freshly spawned players probably don't have any immersion to break, it's probably much less immersion breaking to switch servers if there's campers than stay and continually be killed. -

"Act like an asshat" how exactly do you mean? -
Zombies ability to get up after being shot

Could use a bit more info, what do you mean? Bear in mind the zombies are alive, you can't pump them full of lead and they will magically get back up. -
They could have just ditched it, it's great to see they still care.

You're doing the exact same thing, just on the opposite end of the scale. You're the guys who kill the people who kill for satisfaction, for satisfaction. People who kill for fun are douchebag bandit asses, but not people who kill bandits for fun. You have to see the hypocrisy in this.
