always good to see some interesting stories coming out of this game, still gives me hope that hackers WON'T ruin the whole thing.

Happens man, at least you gave them fair warning. I see to many people that just open up on everything that moves.

So I died in game recently ( my own fault, did something stupid and got a bullet for it, so I hold no malice to the man who shot me), but as I was re-spawning it didn't give me the gender option, which stuck some warning bells that something was amiss, sure enough, I respawn close to where I logged in at the beginning of the night, with all fear. confused, I head into Elektro, and me and another guy meet, which didn't end so hot for either of us. now assuming everything was fixed I re-spawned again, and again, all loot same location, testing this out, and throwing caution to the wind, I run into elektro again, and me and another guy kill each other (apparently i'm good at not letting people enjoy the moment of killing me). So I respawn again, THE SAME THING HAPPENS! :huh: Now i'm happy to still have my loot, don't get me wrong, but it really takes away from the game that exhilarating tow curling rush that you get when you and another player are in the same building hunting one another for survival. it just turns it into, sure i'll die, but i'll just come back and fuck the guy up next time, which ruins the game somewhat. So is this happening to anyone else?!!? :huh: BEANS TO WHOEVER CAN HELP SOLVE THIS! :beans: :beans: :beans: P.S, If you killed me and didn't get loot from it, my apologies.

Hi to all, I'm just throwing this out there, but i'd like to see if anyone would like to put together a team. The way I see it, their is safety in numbers, and i'd like to play with some of the fine people on the forums. The end goal really, is good loot, maybe a vehicle or two (a heli if we are lucky) and obviously to have some fun. Skilled players are preferred but Bambi's are more than welcomed (i'm no mega pro, but I've been around the game a while, learned my fair share of stuff). If anyone is interested, please feel free to comment below, and we can set everything up, correlate schedules, all that fun rigamaroll. and of course people are free to use this is a "base topic" and search for other groups themselves. I see a lot of loners out there that are forced to be grouped up to service and I see friendships from the end of it. Mainly I hope this team can be gathered, and we can have some real fun, and can all learn some tricks from one another. (good loot for all is also a big thing :D) So if you want to group, just let me know in the topic, or ask any questions on the matter. of course you can also message me directly if you have any personal/private questions (people are secretive like that). Is this still happening?!!? I spawn in, and it tells me i'm dead, feeling disgruntled, I reload to be spawned in the wilderness! so i have to abort and respawn, and I respawn in NOVY!! with NO ITEMS! (still had ghuille for some reason.) so i try to make a run back to camp, where I have some extra stuff (way the fuck north), but i need to stop by stary market for some food and a pack, also some random other essentials, and the game screwed me over nine different ways, and in the market I get my leg broken! by a zombie just just comes out of the fucking ground! he was still slightly in it as well!!! so out of ammo, and with no morphine, I just gave up and died, now I have to start ALL over (which I don't mind to much, it's still irritating because of how I died), and make the long ass treck up north AGAIN! This time with NO VEHICLE! D: So is this still happening to others? I though they were going to fix this!

In relation to OP, I know how you feel. I had just found a van, and while i was looking over it, I looked up and saw a survivor come into my veiw. I panicked, I though he was going to kill me and take the van, I didn't know what to do, it was my first vehicle! Kid was young, maybe a fresh spawn, a dinnerbell with no bullets...I shot him, he didn't even get a chance to finish saying friendly! I tried to help him, while remaining caution, but I didn't have the gear! they don't train you for that! (Slight die hard reference in there)

My condolences on the loss of your gear due to some dick script kiddies, wish we could get them all out, it'd make things less stressful, when you are way up north and are afraid of getting tele'd back to the coast, when all your stuff is in a tent near NE Airfield.

That's what i figured, but it's good to get conformation. today I went down to the airfeild and chanced upon a heli crash sight! there were 3 Bizons there as well (only one mag of ammo (:[ ) ) as well as some medical supplies. The location is scarce on animals though, lol

So I made an account to tell everyone of my great day playing DayZ today, and to see other stories from other players. Having upgraded my PC, i hopped into a brand new server to start fresh, there, i was met by an Admin, who I had a nice conversation with and who told me the server was brand new, so go out searching ( he dropped a item box as a gift, and i feel to the temptation of getting the DMR, but it was canceled due to finding a DMR like two buildings away, so I don't feel bad anymore, lol), anyways, after gettign all kitted out (DMR, Ghuille,L85 from some dead dude), and all equiptment, which i found looking for car parts for a bus, which i finally fixed, which then immediately lost a wheel. Feeling sad, because of all the work i just did, hope struck again, there, a fully working motorcycle, just in the middle of the road, and with enough fuel to get me out of that hellhole Cherno! Leaving on my new found freedom (dodging players along the way, not everyone is as friendly as me)(also, i'm in a hero skin, when out of ghuille, and am generally friendly, provided you never come near me with a drawn weapon, and am always willing to help out), I made my way to Stary, where I proceeded to do some grocery shopping, as i saw no animals on the way, and i didn't have much in the way of beverages. while in Stary, I heard the cracking of an LMG. not chancing my odds, I proceed out of the city, quick as possible. now on my way again, with decent gear, and food and water (hurt sad to say), I made my way up to what is now my new base, and am now sitting looking out over to the NW airfeild. All in all, this was a great day. (sorry for the poor grammer and structure, it's very late when typing) So what great things have happened to you guys. P.S. I saw a white car in the military base in stary, it looked drive able but i got up there and could do nothing with it, is it just scenery? If someone knows, please let me know.
