High-Powered rifles (ie the As50) are actually quite rare in the spawn values. The only reason you see/hear/get hit by a .50 cal every five seconds is because of snipers and dupers. As for military gear being more rare... Sure, they could be more rare, but remember that there was at least at one time a large military force present in Chernarus, which would explain the thousands of military zombies and bodies, and the hundreds of destroyed military vehicles. The reason for the weapons being there is pretty friggin' solid.

... Eh. People are going into your camps... Doesn't mean they are hackers. As Rocket has said, meta-ing is allowed. Don't like people raiding your camp? Move or post a damned guard.

Problem: Getting a scripter teleport to you and playershield you. Solution: Retrieve another gearset from tents, don't afraid of anything and start killing all you see for a short period of time. Including those friggin' bunnies.

Problem: You logged off or ALT-F4'd while in shock. (little white icon above bone breakage, doesn't matter where you got it from) Solution: Die!

Being in Elektro means that there are multiple people in there at once. Elektro snipers are notorious for not being "honorable" and all that shit. They Alt F4 at the first sign of trouble. It is of highest probability that you just randomly killed a random survivor... In Elektro... You're a monster. -edit, my logicses kicked in. No matter who it was, they had a high-val weapon, and were in Elektro alone... So they were there to PK anyways, which refutes my "argument". Meh.-

HAH friendly servers. One of the most, if not THE most important part of the game is PvP, and the feeling of not being safe at any moment. Zombies are trivial problems. A fully-armed psychopath looking to kill you and make love to your body? That's some scary shit that makes this game tense.

And the reason you can't kill REAL survivors with good gear is that they don't dick around in high-traffic areas for long. AltF4 people aren't survivors, they are video game players.

The point is that you both learn from your mistakes and help Rocket create the best game possible.

New spawn in Balota. I employ a "nothing to lose" attitude and storm the military outpost. Find a dead guy with an M14 and a GPS in one of the hunting stands. Move to exit the camp, thoroughly aroused. Open one of the front gates. The gate opens onto my side and pins me against the wall. This breaks my legs and inexplicably throws me a couple hundred feet into the air, unconcious. I regain conciousness as I land in the water. The water provides no help and kills me on impact. I respawn in Balota and head to my body only to see another survivor was taking the stuff, and had noticed me. Then I died again.

I buy a limited edition, I want a DayZ baseball cap and a can of beans.

I was turned into a dog once on a server. The dude only turned me and asked me to follow him around. I did, and he gave me a helicopter to ride around in until the server reset. Being a dog is awesome.
