How my day 36 char died... Starvation due to being teleported to debug plains. It was a fun hike. Hacker even provided enriching activities such as arts and crafts.

One I have previously shared on this forum. Geared up to the teeth and carrying a mod 0 camo I found, I try exitting Balota's military camp through the gates. I open a gate and it opens towards me... Crushing me against the wall and throwing me hundreds of meters into the air. I die on impact with the ground. I respawn nearby and make my way back to my body. By the time I found it, another newspawn was looting it. Keep in mind I was a newer player at this point... I ask the survivor if I could have my stuff back and I explain my situation. His response? He sends a single round from my own gun through my face. Failure. Best win is finding a group of 15 or so taking screenies for their clan on a near empty server, all of their vehicles in the pic, as well as a huey above. My companion shoots the players while I engage the vehicles. After less than 10 seconds, all of their vehicles were destroyed and the players themselves decimated. Within 5 minutes, their tent city flattened by our own UAZ. We were sent the screenies the dude took as the attack happened. Good times. Win.

There is going to be a hive wipe at some point in the near future, which will reset humanity, stats, and equipment. Wait it out.

Yeah, until you either get shot by a sniper at 3k's or ran over by a hacked btr.

My Dayz experience goes as follows. >Play as a legit survivor, doing nothing but lone wolfing it through the wilderness, looking for loot and cooked meat >Get bored of lone wolf, join a group of players >gradually become bored of normal survival. Gradually become a bandit >get bored of normal banditry and fall to 12.7mm snipe timez >get bored of sniping n00bz at coast >start countersniping coastal snipers and begin caring more about player interaction than pk'ing >go insane and start sharing my high-val resources and vehicles with newspawns I have no fucking idea what i'm going to do after I get bored of my current way of playing.

Restricting dogs to non-bandits is bullshit. A dog doesn't care about your mental health, he cares about his next meal. Oh, and Dev, that is also bullshit. I rob people all the time. Gave up AS50 sniping a loooong time ago.

Get correct beta version. "versions" tab in commander.

I have my mic set up so that when people talk in direct they sound like they are in a skype call and vice-versa. Also, the mountain dew gods were the ones talking to you. Find a can and it shall bring your greatness.

This is legit, and we did not end up killing each other despite not knowing who the hell each other were prior. I did take precautions, but the were not needed.

Do as everyone else does: Deathmatch in Cherno or Elektro. Then get bored of that and start caring more about player interaction than KOS.

Lots of hackers spawning those in. Don't worry about that though. Go to Green Mountain and listen to the creepy ass broadcast a few times.

No. Once you are infected, you are dead, and should lose all control of your character. It may be hard to implement, and it may not, but after dying and becoming a zombie, you should just be a normal walker that doesn't despawn until killed or server restarts... And all of your gear would still be on you. No health/damage bonuses either, just another zombie. It just comes down to difficulty in implementation. And this would most likely be one of the "icing on the cake" add-ons... Like actual alcohol and character customization.

Anyone want to join an Elektro deathmatch? Go to Elektro on any high pop server, and then get scripted to death. ACTIVATE FUN-MODE

This is not Amnesia, and anti-biotics are not laudanum. -edit, misread anti-psychotics as anti-biotics. Idea is still not fair, however. I don't want to be sitting on a hill and sniping people trying to rob my camp and start randomly screaming at the top of my lungs.
