I'm not upset about servers having all different versions of the latest dayz. A few hotfixes have gone out and it takes time for it to roll out to servers. What I AM upset about are servers not running the latest ARMA 2 beta, or not have battleye updated for it, or those running dayz 1.6 or something crazy like that. I doubt the Dayz mods have control over that and its a server admin thing.

People lock servers all the time. I mean, they don't seem to for very long but there are times when it seems just clan members are on those servers.

I spawned without any gear (nor backpack/anything) in the wilderness. Had to die and respawn. Was kind of upset because I had a few good survival things on me.

I think some of the goofy respawn rates and zombie distances/aggro might fix some of that stuff.

I could be wrong on the second but I am certain I am right on the first. I'm not going to see if the second works, someone else can do that.

Melee was the idea everyone thought was awesome until they tried to defend themselves from a zombie attack in the game. You're going to end up unconscious and bleeding out for your trouble. Then again, I'm sure there are a lot of volunteers for the foolish 'sneak up behind zombie to stealth kill it' club.

I used to love playing in the night but it is too dark now, so no, not until its fixed in the next beta patch.

It's dickish to stash crap out of bounds but on the other hand, they gotta jog a long way to get to it.

I'd like dayz servers that are kind of like some of the domination servers out there. Some are custom, somewhat. Some have slightly different rules or weapons.

I heard stories of hackers setting entire towns on fire. I think it would be awesome to have seen that. Even if I died, it would have still been one of those things where it was 'cool to have been there' when it happened. When it is just straight up griefing, that is just stupid and pointless and I hope it stops.

Because its a military simulator based on the present, not a military simulator based on the roman empire.
