  1. Thanks for the tip 4L4N. Atm i just managed to get around 90-120 fps :D
  2. Its all depends on your system and how you tweaked it. It took me 2 days, to get to this. First i tried ramdisk, but didn't work. Then i worked a way around with imgdisk so it would save and launch the drive each time. Then i figuired out that i had to disable the GPU when i was on the desktop. But its not like a big complainment, but there must be something that can hit me with like 10-20 fps more, so it would be stable :)
  3. Hi all. I managed to get my fps up at 60 today, but its still unstable. Sometimes it goes down to 40 :S I tweaked theese settings, but is there more i can tweak? i have used ramdisk too, and i got a good laptop. terrainGrid=50; sceneComplexity=100000; mouseSmoothing=0; My ArmA2OA.cfg FSAA=0; postFX=0; GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; HDRPrecision=8; vsync=0; AToC=0; PPAA=0; PPAA_Level=0; I have updated my graphic driver and have set it up after the nvidia dayz tutorial here at the forums with the correct settings. Is there anything else i can tweak? Is it possible to get totally rid of grass and just get some clean ground? I hope someone can help me, because i really want a stable fps. Btw, i have to run the game in 1024x786, just to get the fps at 60 Thanks in advance :)

Ramdisk for Windows 7 64 bit?

Fiquired out that i had to disable my nvidia card when i was running on the desktop. Normally i used only the Nvidia gfx, but i have a integrated intel gfx. If anyone comes to this error. Then just select the option to auto-select :)
  5. Damn, dont know what went wrong. Maybe its the server, but i only got 30 fps now :S
  6. Thanks for the answers :) That boosted my fps to around 40-60, and normally i was around 10-25fps :)
  7. Hi all. Some maybe know that the Ramdisk method could fix almost the whole lag in the game. Currently i have tried a few out. None of them worked with Windows 7 64 Bit. I tryed to use this one, as this was posted in a topic how to fix lag: http://memory.datara...oftware/ramdisk - In my way i wouldn't try it out again since it fucked up my laptop totally. The program didn't work very well and i tried to restart my computer and then i got a black screen. Thanks to some kind people on a forum and my smartphone i managed to find a solution for my laptop to show the image again. My computer was running, but no image at all. So when i finally got back in again i just uinstalled the damn shit and wont even touch that again. Well a little short story of my problem. Is there any version that is free of any kind of Ramdisk that 100% supports windows 7 64 bit? Thanks in advance :)
  8. I always close programs & browsers down on some games. No need if im only playing CS 1.6 or something, but i have closed everything down, so the only thing that is running is steam and ESET NOD32 Anti virus
  9. Hi all. I started at DayZ a few days ago. The strange thing that i cant really play the game smooth, or even with a decent fps with all at low and running 1920x1080 My specs are Intel i7 2760QM (sandy bridge) 2.2 boost to 3.1 GHZ 6GB DDR3 RAM Nvidia Geforce GT 630M 2GB DDR5 Running on Windows 7 64 Bit What could cause this problem? I run battlefield at low and even with a 50-85, so what could be wrong? Is ARMA 2 just too demanding? Im also running all the latest updates for all the hardware Hope someone can help me Thanks in advance :)
