Hey guys like the title says I've been using BErcon to admin a server. Lately it has been posting the message that it could not connect to BEmaster, update attempt failed. I can still log on and monitor the players as well as kick and ban them if need be. I can also send global messages but not private ones. Any one else know of how to get it to connect to BEmaster or just get it updated?

Really? I've never really noticed a difference when it is raining and when it isn't, I can hear them just the same.

Well say it doesn't have to flood an are maybe just have a lot of standing water in the are so that footsteps are louder and say it is harder to sneak. But at the same time if it is raining hard then the sound of your foot steps could be harder to hear.

I wouldn't say you were a jerk, you made a decision after trying to make contact. He raised a weapon and posed a threat to your group. In the real world during such times he would have been killed just the same. Don't let it keep you up at night.

I agree, the idea of the game is for you to struggle and survive in a scarce environment. In my opinion server hopping is defeating that purpose. It degrades the value of the vehicle others work so hard to obtain.

Well if your playing on a high population map the vehicles are probably already gone. The best way to get a ride is to find a nice low pop server, preferably one that is still fairly new. Other wise you'll have better luck finding a bicycle.

Sometimes you just have to find the right spot on the body, and be sure to use the scroll wheel on the mouse. It will bring up all of the options for the animal.

Well that depends, if the server restarted while your away you may want to check the last spot you "saved" the vehicle at.

This is an interesting concept. But it would rise some problems. You would have to piece together the tow truck first off. Then it would allow 1 person to go around and gather up all of the wrecks around the map. Or if he found a ride someone else put together he could just hook it up and ride off with it. But that is a realistic idea and that is what the game is about.

Yeah, It seems like when you need an animal to pop up they are few and far between. I remember when I had lost a lot of blood and was walking around looking for animals to fry up. Saw a lot of birds but few animals. Took me a while but I finally came across a goat. Wasn't the best but it got me out of a grey screen and constantly passing out.

Every one seems to believe that it is set to release in December. But nothing offical yet.

Although what Jamz says is true never get comfortable around the Zeds. I've lost my life a couple times becuase I got comfortable. It only takes one lucky strike from one to break a leg or knock you unconcious. So if at all possible stay with out of arms reach.

There is also the possibility of hackers. They are rare on low pop servers but they the ability to teleport any where around the map or teleport players any where around the map. So like the others said you always need to be on alert even when you are the only one on a server. You never know when some one will pop up.

Why would you want a dog honestly? It is another mouth to feed more than likely they won't be able to attack or they would have to attack every thing. Bandits would shoot them just to watch people piss and moan about it. So I don't see any up side other then being able to use them to pack things around.
