Never go through the scripts.log anyway... way too big and imo not really necessary to catch hackers anyway... :D

What log file are these coming from? scripts.log? If they are from this log I'd say these arent hackers.. any other logs, yes.. ban 'em!

I dont agree tbh.. We haven't had any mass hacker teleporting going on since the new 1.7.6.1 patch, so whatever the devs changed it most certainly worked. Problem indeed is with individual hackers. We still have hackers teleporting around the map. As far as I've seen they're not able anymore to teleport loads of players at the same time.. (this is what I've been seeing in our server logs at least). -

Imo like you stated yourself, it matters not how your admins play.. as long as they dont abuse any tools at hand. We (our admins) play like we want but for our community to gain new members I always think its better to talk to people in game.. Hahaha not every1 in our team thinks that way :-) -

I (we) use Dart for banning people and the occassional manual add ban (through ftp banlist). We ban both ip+guid just to make sure any multi guid hacker at LEAST has a bit more trouble to get back on the server. -

Then normally it's a bit more tricky to find out who is the actual hacker and who has been hacked... :) -
This normally means your client isn't updated to this version (1.62.102936). If you use dayzcommander then just click on the Install/Update option (top) and check wether everything is updated properly.

You were probably 'targeted' cause you (and probably alot of others too) came up as gear spawners in their server logs. Misunderstanding of the log files can cause wrongfull bans sometimes unfortunately :( -
Although they did mention there's no real support team anymore some stuff indeed needs fixing every now and then. I do understand that if those devs have to do this in their own time (apart from working on the stand alone) it might take a while before certain stuff is fixed. I'm glad there's alot of skillfull people in this community. Alot of issues we (UK498) were solved with the help of other server admins. So respect for that!

They should be traceable through the hiveext.log file. -

Hahaha it really isn't... only thing you do need is a .pbo file of which I do not know wether this can be posted publicly. It isn't my .pbo file :) This is what needs to be done: -Stop the server (via control panel) -Copy your dayz_server.pbo (found in /@hive/addons) -Delete your server's copy of that .pbo file (be sure you saved your original to your PC) -Upload a "clean" .pbo -Restart the server -Let the server run for a few minutes -Stop the server -Remove the cleaner .pbo -Upload your original .pbo -Start up your server -Drink a few pints and enjoy the action -
