I did that once for some dude in Cherno (run from a basecamp all the way up north east)... got there, nearly found him and he got a bullet in the head... lol waste of time, but I was laughing my ass off :D I love this game! Only really annoying thing is the hackzorzzz. Our server is public, but nowadays I spend most my times going through logs banning them instead of playing... Bring on the SA!!!!

AS50 is indeed better on all aspects... Though I prefer the 107 myself mainly cause ,like somebody else already mentioned, I feel like a whimp when firing the AS50 cause of the way it sounds :D :D Very distinctive sound .... I likey! It feels manly! :D and it looks cooler too imho!

I've found them on crashed chopper sites and in NWA barracks twice. Rest came from either my buddies or dead bodies :) ow yea and some from a hacker box :D

Newest drivers on Ati cards dont always necessarily work better. I'd try to install drivers from the same release date of the GPUs. Ati always had a bit of issues with their catalyst drivers not running very well on older cards..

As far as I know there's no centralised page where you can look up certain log lines and stuff... This guide has been written using all kinds of different websites and feeds. From within the DayZ community but also from ARMA2 related websites (since DayZ runs on the ARMA2 engine).

Hahahaha tbh it's alot more work adminning a DayZ server then any other game server I've been admin on before :( Hope they come up with some kind of admin tool for the stand alone... We might actually be able to play then instead of downloading logs all the time :) :)

Seen this happen on our server once as well... It only happend once, but we're still clueless what caused this. Probably some new kind of script injected by a hacker. After a server restart all was well again..I'd be carefull teleporting around though, my mate teleported into a tree and died :D :D :D

I know what you mean mate... This guide is meant to help us admins so we can catch them quicker... and it's also for nooby admins who are absolutely clueless on what to look at in the logs ;) Apparently you don't have to read it since you're a pro hacker banner and already know what to look for :D :)

Hahaha yea it's been a pain this last 2 weeks... The hacks seem to be getting even more sophisticated, but my analysing skills are gaining too on the other hand.. Most hackers are gone within 30 seconds after doing something dodgy.. Btw, the Guide is finished, all relevant personal info has been blanked out and it''s been converted to .pdf. Going to upload it in the next hour and post a link on the forum in a new topic. (I'll link it in here as well).

As far as I know a tool like this is only available with private hive providers. I wish there was a tool like that for public server so we could ban hackers alot quicker ... Through the logs we can find players/vehicles/see peoples loadout, but we cant spawn in stuff or teleport people or kill them or whatever... Don't know why people think that tbh...

Havent tried this yet. Looks quite similar to another tool we've been using lately. Unfortunately both Dart and this other ARMA Rcon tool make our server crash (possibly cause this be max 3000 bans issue). Hope they can fix this issue. With this many cheaters in DayZ we're easily getting more bans then 3000 :( I'll give this a try any time soon and report back!

lol man are you going to post that link in every server report topic??? Dont you have some admin duties to do on your own (offline) server?

If it's an L85 aws you might get auto kicked since some servers have scripts running to 'ban' these weapons. On a side note the L85 isn't illegal (yet)...

Automated as in they've got a script running on the their server which bans people for doing something that can be classified as hacking/scripting. Im kind of missing the point here... did you just say you were unbanned from that server? If so, why the hell do you keep posting about this... I'd say game on and chill out... No wonder that admin was getting fed up with you... lol...

From what I've read all bans submitted to the cbl people have been verified by people who know what to look for when it comes down to hackers/scripters. Not sure if this is fully true though, but you mustve done something wrong to get yourself on that banlist at some point..;

It's a public 1 mate. We're in the process of getting it verified with 1 of the dayz devs, but not hearing much anymore from the mods I send the guide to and I don't want to push them too much either as they're probably busy as well... (aren't we all) :) First reactions are very positive though... ;)

I know you're never able to get rid of all of them, but if we can get 99% of them of our server Im pretty pleased :) I do like to play DayZ too, but an admin is an admin... when shit hits the fan the players on your server depend on you to act as required. I press the ban button every single time with a big smile on my face tbh :)
