They need to add many types of russian rifles and start replacing all the american and british weapons. There needs to be some at helicopter crashes but most of chenarus should consist of russian type weapons. +1

Ok, I see several posts about this game being to easy and to me it is way to easy and isnt even a challenge so I havent played in a while. There are posts about making the game harder and i 100% agree with that and it may or may not decrease the ammount of killing. It will make people kill for a reason as you will most likely have something they want. It will decrease noob killing as who is going to kill someone who has nothing when you onlt have a few bullets. Make ammo and guns scarce. That goes with everything I shouldnt be able to walk into a hospital loot 1 box and be set the entire play through. Food is way to plentiful as it is now and I hardly even think about it anymore. Make the zombies thick in the streets and in the world so getting through alone is near impossible. Sure you see another player with a gun and as it is now its like ok he has a gun i dont need him i will just shoot him. If this game is harder we think ok we can help eachother maybe he has food and i have ammo for his makarov. If you dont work together it will make the game hard and the more people you have the better chance you have. You have more mouths to feed but getting into those precious loot spots will now be somewhat possible. Oh yeah and weapons oh my god weapons are so plentiful. make more civilian type weaponry that match the setting. I think you should only be able to find american and british weaponry in helicopter crashes and everything else is mosin nagant rifles and such. Make the sniper rifles ultra low spawn i mean im talking like 0.01% spawn of the as50. The dragonov and (forget name of the opfor .50) and the cz550 the only sniper rifles able to be found on chenarus and the rest are helicopter drops. I know it might take time and we are in alpha but there needs to be more civilian type weaponry and less military grade assault rifles. I know this was a game designed as a military simulator. This is all the more reason to get a stand alone dayz out and i hope you guys start it soon. I know most the noobs will flame this comment as new people are not going to know the mechanics of the game and will find the game difficult as it is. Ive been playing arma for 2 years now and am pretty experienced so these are just my views. You will need to find a median where the game is still fun for new players as it is experienced players. Most the dayz fan base is new players because they didnt find this awesome game until dayz went viral. Really need a standalone dayz and even a single player in it. It doesnt have any connection to online play but players can learn the game on there own so the online play can be fun and not such a nightmare to get started. Everything here is probably a lot easier said than done. Good luck developing the game as every move you have made has been the right one so far. I hope you get to work on a standalone dayz as this game is to good to be just a mod. Thank you rocket. :)

+1 dayz is so easy and its not even survival when its this easy. I dont mind the killing people to a point. Its to easy to find guns, food, meds, its to easy to do everything. I get bored I start killing people. Nothing else to do in the game besides to kill people without reason. Make this game harder please.

Basically they took the gun out as a test to see wether new players starting out would bond because they cant beat each other to death. Whether they will add back in a starting weapon idk. No difference to me. I find guns way fast i think it needs to be harder. Most the stuff you mentioned here has already been posted and people just need to wait for updates as devs have already heard and are thinking of implementing them most likely.

The lee enfield is a great weapon and one of my favorites. Ill admit on was on top of the firestation banditing and either another bandit or a bandit killing team opened fire on me from that tall industrial building. There were 3 of them. One was running back and forth trying to get me to get out of cover and shoot. The other had what sounded like a cz550. The 3rd i never found ill get to him. After about 10 minutes of them taking shots at me i scooted back slowly and i dont know how far the top of the industrial building is from the firestation but i think its like 400m. He was a little smaller or the same size as my sight. I took one shot and before he saw me scoot into position he was squirting mounds of blood in the air 1 more shot and he died. The second ran to his body in an atempt to salvage his stuff. I dispactched him as he wasnt so smart and was easily visable. The 3rd I never found and I was so tempted into getting that guys gear i went down the ladder and was sniped as i tried getting to the 2nd ladder. All in all the enfield is a great gun and I think they shouldnt get rid of it.The only reason they should get rid of it is to replace it with the mosin nagant and my only beef with the enfield is it has no bullet drop. For that it is kind of an OP player killing weapon. I like my l85a2 aws.

People will take advantage of this and join the recruit server then leave. They could carry it over -1 just get better at the game and learn the mechanics its not hard to get a gun.

I think its only a matter of time before he adds them. This is been beaten to death over the last week and he will add them.

I dont know why you guys are arguing about this weapon because its to OP. It is extremely rare its not like they are laying all over cherno and elektro. Heli crash's are supposed to have good loot. Just leave the gun.

About the time zone thing MANY servers are off i will log into different seattles and some are dark and some are light. I dont think you should be penalized for trying to find a good server as I sometimes log in and out a few times before i find a good one.

I believe you can find a gps in the control tower really rare though i have only found it once there. The night vision you cannot get there I dont think. I have only found it at a heli crash and at the barracks in the north west airfield.

I was just wondering if the ammount of players on the server effects the ammount of loot that spawns or the value of loot.

I think to make this game harder and actually make the czech vest pouch a item and not just floor debris we should start with it. It makes sense as you should start with the crapiest gear and have the coyote a step up from it.

They shouldnt add this. Either take your chances with someone on the game or meet in one of the ts channels. I have actually never been shot at the airfield in the 6 times ive been there. I must be lucky or sneaky. I dont like this concept because in a zombie outbreak you dont get green diamonds that you can see through mountains and stuff to show where your squad is.

+1 even though the crossbow is a great pvp weapon as i can kill someone with one shot in the stomach it needs more bolts for zombies unless you headshot.
