    The only downside I've found is it's close to the NE airfield, which means you can get large groups flying through.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't vanilla mean that nothing has been changed? No mods or anything? Because last time I checked a lot of those things aren't in DayZ.

    Well, technically all the player models used in DayZ are soldiers, but I agree, in standalone there should be some system like this.

    That would take a ridiculous amount of work from possibly hundreds of people over several years, although it would be totally awesome if it was made.

    It's less about the age of the player, and more about how mentally mature they are, and there's no way to restrict that.

    When I was using the M1014 with pellets, I noticed the spread on it is far larger than what actuall military-grade shotguns have, which looks more like this at 100m: I was wondering, are there plans to change this?

    But they do much less damage, which is also a bit of an issue because a slug would probably kill very quickly, but they don't.

    I came across an m4a3 cco, and couldn't decide if I should take it or not. It didn't have any ammo, but STANAG isn't that rare. I can't carry both it and the M14 AIM which I already have, which has 5 full clips and 1 half full. What gun would be better for banditry?

    PvP is a huge part of DayZ, if you don't like it there's not much point in playing the game.

    I kill whenever someone gets within 100m of me, and I always loot the body unless something like massive groups of zombies or a more heavily armed player stops me.

    I usually just check hangars, a suprising amount of people set camps up in those. Mostly at NE though.

    Killing players who didn't attack you first is usually what I call banditry, so yes.

    Always stay crouched unless on the move nowhere near anyone. It's worked for me so far.
