Well with the recent patch, a server that me and my friends played on went down, and we have yet to hear any news on when its coming back online, so it's time for a new home.... Here is what we are looking for: - Me and my group (four of us total) are looking for a well established community with a reputable admin team that is NOT known for admin abuse. - We really enjoy maps with custom buildings and bases added on them with plenty of vehicles, vanilla maps are just not enjoyable for us anymore. Also, we are not really into the whole Rmod thing. (well me and my one friend are, but the other two are not, friggin crybabies lol) - Active admins with a whitelist! (we dont need TS, we have our own server) - Perhaps events to change things up from time-to-time? Think church in cherno or whatever. - We enjoy a well balanced community of bandits and survivors. Our play style? Gear up, blast zombies, and make noise in cities to encourage other players to come lol. We usually handle encounters with survivors by overpowering them at gun point and not firing unless fired upon. Heros, always friendly towards, but shoot, and well.... Bandits are always kill-on-sight for us no matter what, unarmed bambi bandit who screams "No Don't!" is the best to blast. We don't hate bandits, we just love shooting them lol. We are friendly in chat, help admins enforce rules, try not to be bothersome for staff by asking questions constantly like, "Where are all the cars....?" Good bunch of guys here that are fun to play with, please help us find a home! Thanks!

First off me and couple friends rent a server for dayz. Since we had countless problems with hackers, and unfortunately they dont seem to be going anywhere, we decided that every Sunday afternoon and wednesday evening we turn off the security and let the hackers have their fun on our server. Surprisinigly enough, we have had less hackers running scripts, etc. during the normal legit hours. Also, so members of our community aren't affected by its impacts, we always do a rollback to right before the anit-hack was turned off. It's kinda like a screwoff three hour event. Anyways, myslef and two other admins, hopped on the server when I thought the BE was disabled and bam injection= global ban = fml. Anyways, now i am not going to purchase keys off any site since they're most likely obtained illegally. Just curious if I repurchase arma2oa on steam on a new account if we can get back to playing? Now before you go off on your opinions about script kiddies, trust me i hate them too, they have made my life as an admin hell, but me and the admin team were trying to find different ways to combat the scenario and this has been our most effective. Let the bastards have their fun for a short while and make sure no ones expierence is ruined in the progress. Second, if you dislike this approach, you are more than willing to help pay the rent on our server to have a say :) Thanks.

This past weekend was a real treat :) Lots of groups were formed on the southern coast of newer players being friendly and helping one another, bandits up north killing without mercy or regret, some clan had their base raided, a new clan war has begun, and we got about 40 members on the white list now! This past weekend was an ideal DayZ experience! Had one little turd script kiddie, but he was banned so fast with such a 'nice' ban message, that we all had a good laugh at his expense! :lol: During the weekdays, we kind of slow down (good for gearing up) and during the weekends we get pretty busy. We have nice niche group here and everyone knows everyone. From the most dangerous bandit, to the most tactical group, to the most trusting individuals, don't you think it's time that you carve your name into the wall at a place where everyone knows who you are? (it's like Cheers! lol)

Sorry for the over extended server downtime. Due to hacker activities we needed to shutdown the server and issue a rollback. Rollback was set to 11/27/12 12:00GMT, which was roughly one hour prior to the server shutdown.
