Ok, so next time you make any single comment at all about the games physics, make sure you take Physics 3 and read some documents by phD physicists before you post. IMO, if it's an infection, it didn't just get there willy-nilly. It takes time to die by infection, so these people would have fought back, and HARD. They would have their guns out, and food stashed, yet it's as if nothing happened in Chernarus! I think that's more "SUPERNATURAL" than someone coming back from the dead as a zombie. Or, how about how zeds will kill you, but they won't eat you afterward, yet if you pass out, they'll start eating you? That makes sense. Oh, you say they want live food? Well why did they kill you? They should have just tried to eat you in the first place. If they're infected, then why not just have it so if a player dies by infection their body "reanimates" as a zed? It's not the fricken hard to translate from this idea, and how else would the rest of Chernarus got an infection? Magic? Like you hate? Going off my previous suggestion, it's been 5 years, so it makes sense for them to have gear, BUT, I think that it should be on varying levels of degration. It shouldn't look like they all died at the same time and their stuff started breaking, no, but it should be items in severe disrepair or with high risk of infection, such as food and razors and ect you find on them. I like this idea, and I think that zombies should spawn with more gear. It needs to look as if the people were trying to survive, or else it needs to look like Chernarus just up and one day found itself with everyone as a zombie, as if it just changed within seconds. I think the second would leave more mystery, definitely.

verify game cache and steam archives, turn off an extra expansions not needed to run dayz, but most likely its an internet stability problem so he needs to get off of dial-up and upgrade to a real internet package. if that doesn't work then I'll reply tomorrow when I get some sleep and remember more stuff of what I've done when this happens.

Ok, first thing was I was like, "OMG, 5 of his friends DIED! THAT'S HORRIBLE! He shouldn't be on the forums! He should be locked in the closet with food, water, and 3 days worth of tissues!" Then you start talking about ArmA. You made me care... ...for nothing.

In Lingor I took an old bike down a steep hill and hit 90 mph, then flew off a road blockade when the turn got too steep, went 50 feet in the air over an embankement making it 100 ft, turned sideways in midair, then landed and died. In Sahrani I drove a motorcycle down a mountain and got to 125, lived but got shot at by a guy with an Enfield (random dude)... crashed the bike in the trees and got away, getting shot 3 more times throughout the ordeal until I died. He was a jackass. I was going to leave, obviously, and I would have kept going because I barely saw him (just before he fired I said to my friends "I think another guy is here") and I was still going a good 65 when I got to the bottom of the hill, not to mention I ran away even AFTER I wrecked the bike. He was just a D***.....

Nah, it's more of it's new. DayZ will have frequent updates compared to what it is now, or even not, so people won't get bored.

Mmm, I don't think battleye would take the liberty of doing all this, considering it was for ArmA, I believe. I think it should be more like a report on the website (so it's out of game) and the reports should only show up if there are say 10 reports from 10 unique players within a period of half a week, and then refreshes. Also, you shouldn't be able to report a player for any offence (again), even if they've committed more than one, for the rest of the half-week period. Add a "copy player GUID to clipboard" option to make it easier. Reports should be simple and for the serious stuffs. -Hacking -Offensive language and ect (needs a picture evidence attatched) What else do you need? Glitchers will be glitchers, haters will be haters. All you need to do is remove the people who don't play the game right, and the people who don't deserve to play the game, who are one (or both) of those things.

I don't want anyone going in and modding DayZ. That means you can mod for "hacks", godmode weapons, and ect. I want it to stay the way it will be. Not only that, but we'll see the same "5000+ Vehicles, 200+ helis, custom starting gear + custom buildings and loot!!!!! XD ZOMG LOL YOLO SWAG 2013!!!" that we see so often in the community now. I'd like there be able to be MAP modding, sure, because that wouldn't affect much. The editing of skins and such, yes, because if you wanted to make a tropical map, just retexture the civilians, done and done. As long as it doesn't affect the game the way it does now, I'm fine with it.

Like it would be IRL in Chernarus, but so would all the other snipers, especially considering the DMR (and I think the M24) are US WEAPONS... FFS....

I can still play Skyrim, Fallout, Minecraft, and the likes, but only BF3 and MW2 (because that's the only CoD game I have pre-DayZ and the only one I'd ever buy since most after suck indefinitely worse) when I want to destroy everyone because how apt I am from ArmA training- and they aren't. Anyway, yeah, it does that, but the reason is that this game is quality. Those games (the FPSs, and RE6) aren't quality. You just demand a more.... QUALITY GAMING EXPERIENCE now. And so do I. I see myself moving away from games every day because I think I could make them so much better. So, for now, they're just ideas. I'll see where I get. But yeah, don't be afraid to get new games, just get the really good ones.
