Hello Blunt and thank you for the answer. When i select direct chat my message does appear and others can read it too. I know it because i teamed up with a guy and i wrote in direct chat and he replied in side/vehicle channel. The version of my game is the same as on the server. I also put all settings to default but its still not working....

It was indeed different, i adapted it now and will check if it works. Thanks anyway edit: graphics are better now, but direct chat still doesnt work

Hi, first of all thanks for the suggestions. Yes, I am sure that the other person wrote something in direct and yes i am running the same version which the server has. Im using DayZCommander too. What do you mean by resetting the game? Re-install?

Hi guys, i have a problem which is quite annoying, i cant read Direct Chat and i guess i cant hear direct voice either. The thing is, if i write something, others can read it! But i cant see their respond. Its really bad because this interrupts the gaming experience, im getting killed because i dont see if anyone asks if i am friendly... I googled before and i couldnt find a fix, does anyone have an idea? :( Edit: btw, side chat is working with no problem

Really cool stories! And @ OP you did the right thing, if he was really a bandit. I also got a story for you... It all began in a forest, after a while of walking around i found several barns, i think the location was between Msta and Tulga . I managed to get into these and found the jackpot: a crossbow and steel bolts! I was so excited, now i could take down zombies quick and effective, so I walked into a second barn, saw a zombie in middle of the floor and took him down immediately, it was so epic :D I found food and more supplies. Then i crawled behind the barn, wanted to took down another zombie but i didnt hit him and searched for the steel bolt, but i couldnt find it :( After a while of searching i heard some noise, it was a car parking right beside me! I tried not to move and saw how 3 People jumped out scanning the barns, i knew they were Bandits... But i thought i got lucky, they drove off but stopped after 10 metres! 1 guy jumped out again and somehow saw me prone in the grass, he looted my backpack (and the crossbow >:( ) and took me down with no mercy... I decided (before i bought the game) that i will give everyone a chance and dont kill like a maniac, but this changed my mind, i will take down people who look like Bandits and give a chance to the friendly survivors. :thumbsup:

Is this the same problem I have? I joined 3 different servers today and after a while i was in the middle of the ocean with other players! Can I never play again? :huh:
